Austin Healey 3000 MK1 2+2 Left Hand Drive 1960 This lovely Left Hand Drive Austin Healey 3000 Mk1 four seater was manufactured according to its Heritage certificate between the 28th and 31st of March 1960 then despatched to Los Angeles USA on the 7th of April the same year. Here it stayed until circa 1990 when it was exported to Norway.
Once in Norway it was restored and entered in year 2000 to the Rallye Monte Carlo Historique. Then staying in Norway apparently in the owners front room of his house until purchased and shipped to the UK in 2014.
The AustinHealey 3000 was announced on 1 July 1959 with production commencing soon after making this car a very early example. Its 3 litre engine replacing the smaller engine 2.6 of the 100 6 and gaining front disc brakes for the first time. Options were limited comprising of Wire wheels overdrive gearbox laminated windscreen interior heater adjustable steering column detachable hard top for the 2+2 and twotone paint but this one had the lot with the rare hard top still being present with the car as is the soft top and tonneau cover.
As previously mentioned restoration took place the best part of 20 years ago and while still in excellent order there are one or two areas where some paint rectification could be carried out minor chips etc remember this car ran in the MonteCarlo rally. Nothing that detracts from the looks and presence of the car though and only very minor. The interior is still in very good order and trimmed correctly. Chrome work badges etc. are all present correct and in very good condition.
The engine bay is very presentable needing no more than some minor detailing to be show quality and they engine fires up willingly soon warming to a smooth but purposeful tick over. The gearbox has over drive which is reported to work and all the mechanics are described as good

MG TF Low Miles 2003 They really do not come much better than this if you want a car that will be a future classic one thats price is already on the way up with good examples such as this regularly selling for more than thought. These face lifted later spec MG TFs are the one to be with.
This particular example is in superb condition having spent the last 5 years stored inside part of a private collection and having only covered a mere 48000 miles from new borne out by the MOT history showing it had only done 19640 mils when three years old and only another 28K since! Resplendent in bright red the body work is excellent and is complemented by having a very rare hard top in contrasting black.
Mechanically it is very good having had back in 2008 the allimportant new water pump and up rated head gasket replacement with bills to prove. The current owner has also recently replaced the alternator and battery.
Interior is also very good with everything functioning as designed. General mechanics brakes transmission etc are all stated to be very good.
On the road these MGs really come to life the TF was the replacement for the much maligned F model featuring not only redesigned body work but more importantly it ditched the earlier models hydrogas suspension for conventional springs this along with a 20% increase in stiffness engineered into the shell completely transformed the way ward handling these cars were famous for. Then MG up rated the engine camshafts and air intake system to give it more power and Hey presto! The car it should have been in the first place. A good sports car deserving of the name MG.
They are still stunning value for money even with the recent increase in value bought on by the secret getting out that these TFs are actually a very good sports car one that is not only good looking and quick enough to have fun in but also easy to live with and backed up by one of the biggest Car clubs in the world. They will not be this price again so grab one while you can is our advice.

Nissan Micra Mk1 Automatic 1992 This stunning condition and now rare Nissan Micra is the original One Lady from New registered keeper car with only an exceedingly low recorded mileage of 22172 on the clock!!

Being a MK1 (K10) Micra that was first registered in February 1992 it has to be one of the last of the original shaped cars registered here in the UK as the more rounded Mk2 (K11) was launched early in 1992.

Coming with its original bill of sale the only things that are not the original parts on the car from new are the bumpers. These have been replaced due to minor parking dings all be it with genuine parts sourced from Germany. It has had mats in the front from new so the carpets have no wear and according to the vendor to their knowledge the back seats have never been used!!

To make it even rarer its an Automatic with the 1200cc engine compared to most which were the 1000cc motor with a manual box. Mechanically it is stated as being excellent in all areas it has just driven it up from Devon with no problem and thats probably the longest journey in its life and equal to the total mileage travelled between MOTs some years.

Exterior is excellent all round and appearing to of not had any paintwork in its time. The interior is stated to be Unbelievably mint and judging by the pictures this is not wrong! Its just as it was when new in a showroom waiting to be collected.

Early 90s Japanese cars in this condition rarely come to market let alone cars such as Micras that were used as family cars city cars school run cars and eventually after being worked to a hairs breath of existence hand me down cars for the son or daughters first car which invariably ended their existence ignobly. When was the last time you saw one in any condition let alone the condition this one is. No it is not a 500 special but it is Special and a real survivor.

Bedford CF Camper Van 1976 One Former owner This one former owner classic 1976 Bedford Camper takes you back in time to when Campers really were that one up from sleeping under canvas not a house on wheels. There is something charming about it with its instantly recognised front this was after all only second to the Transit in popularity where vans were concerned. Like the transit they were available in just about everybody style you could imagine but even back then Camper Conversions were rare due to their price and what with the environment attacking the low quality metal that manufacturers used in the seventies from the outside and fluid spills children family pets etc attacking the inside few campers survived. When did you last see one?

This very presentable example has less than 9000 miles recorded on the clock and its vendor says he has no reason to not believe this. Having collected it from its owners house himself. The online MOT history shows back to July 2006 when it had recorded 7503 miles so no matter what it has travelled less than 1500 miles in the last 12 years!

Recently recommissioned inside and out its interior is very period and as it was built no micro waves here but what was the norm for 1976. Note: ALL APLIANCES MAY OR MAY NOT WORK AND SHOULD BE FULLY TESTED BY A QUALIFIED PERSON PRIOR TO USE. The exterior has been tidied recently and is now very bright and presentable and has the rarer to find fixed high top giving plenty of room to stand inside and helping to give a nice airy feel. The soft cushions seem to be a bit mixed and matched but are in good condition

Its 2 liter petrol engine runs very sweetly its gearbox clutch brakes etc are all said to be good. On arrival with him the vendor removed the brakes they were draging from lack of use and in his own words They were like new in there! It now drives very tight like you would expect from a vehicle with so little miles So with a little TLC there is no reason not to be out and about in it soon and enjoying classic motoring in what is now a very rare classic camper.

MGB GT LE Roadster 1981 This March 1981 example MGB LE is one of the last 420 Special edition MGs made complete with its gold LE stripes and Triumph Stag looking alloy wheels (only 212 cars were fitted with alloy wheels). Bought by the current owner a couple of years back as a present to him and his wife something they could take a drive in together and enjoy some roof down classic motoring drive to the shows in etc. Like all good plans this never really happened with less than 600 miles covered since 2013 so now its time for it to go to a new owner to use and enjoy.

Saab 9000i Carlsson 1990 The last of the three Saabs we have on offer from the same collection is the rarest. Now with only 18 examples left registered as on the road this lovely white June 1990 registered Saab 9000i Carlsson is a very unusual sight. Named after Mr Saab himself Eric Carlsson rose to rally fame by winning several rallies as a Saab works driver. Saab 9000i Manual 1990 Following on with our Saab Theme is this very nice and totally original 1990 Saab 9000i MK1 with only 71000 on the clock!

Powered by the non Turbo 2.3 Litre engine with a 5 speed manual gearbox the 150 horses this engine produces might not have the punch of the Turbo cars but what it lacks in brute power it gains in smoothness and tractability while still being able to match most modern cars in its class. Seating 5 occupants easily and capable of covering long journeys in comfort.

The vendor describes this car as a 100% genuine honest car that drives like a dream and one that flew through its last MOT in February without a single advisory good for any car let alone one this old. Body work is in very good condition all over with very few marks or scratches. While being a MK1 it has the more classic flat front that is much preferred. The original alloy wheels are all in good order and tyres have plenty of life left in them yet.

Its grey velour interior is again all original and in very good condition while all electrical equipment operates correctly and in the boot while not needed are some spare parts for the car and will come with it. This car is nearly 28 years old and the classic car market is now waking up to just what a good classic car they are. Superb build quality excellent reliability good engines and well equipped interiors and one that you can use as an everyday classic without raiding the piggy bank to own.

Range Rover 4.0 litre 1999 First Registered in March 1999 this very good condition 4.0 litre Range rover has just come out of long term company ownership since 2009 unfortunately its service history and hand book pack has been lost so although it is only showing 106K on the odometer apart from all the old Mot certificates dating back to 2008 where it shows the very low usage (95309 miles) there is no way of proving what the vendor considers to be correct the low mileage on the car.

Having said that take a look round the body work and you will soon see that apart from a small dent on the front l/h wing caused very recently where the car was stored hence why now up for auction the body is in very good order. The dark blue paintwork polishes nicely and give the car an air of class.

Interior is the same no rotten worn out and baggy drivers seat as is the norm on these cars. All very nice no not perfect as the car has been used but nothing that would need instant attention. The electrics all appear to work (Note : drivers window while operating correctly does make a noise as it closes fully if you hold the button up this also causes the information display to tell you this). Comes with both its key fobs but only one works.

Mechanically described as very good. The important air suspension operates as designed and the engine is excellent starting easily with no smoke or untoward noises and giving a nice mellow V8 sound through the aftermarket exhaust. The switchable automatic gearbox functions correctly in all modes and d the transmission is quiet in operation. All in all a whole lot of car for not a lot of money

These P38 range Rovers do represent excellent value on the Classic 4_4 Car Market at the moment. With early series Range Rovers fast pricing themselves out of the market for all but a few P38 prices are rising but still offer an affordable alternative.

Lancia Flavia Coupe 1800 Injection 1966 This one owner from new 1966 1800cc Lancia Flavia Coupe has been owned by the same person from new and has a genuine 60000 kms on the clock warranted by its owner a Swiss solicitor spending its life being used when he was staying at his chateau in Switzerland when he used to like to take part in time trial rallies etc in it . As such it has led a cosseted life. Not a restored car though so things like the original leather interior is showing its age no massive damage just the odd nick and needing recolonising. The dash and instrumentation are in good order. Carpets and roof lining are also all good.
Its beautiful Pininfarina coupe body is very good and virtually rust free with the sort of lines that make these cars look so recognisable. All the chrome bumpers and trim are very good too. Mechanically it is very strong and helped in no small way by being the much nicer to drive 1800cc with fuel injection derivative giving it so much more tractability than the smaller 1500cc units.
These 60s Lancias were designed by the leading design houses of their time hand built and totally over engineered. Ironically the very things that bought about Lancias eventual capitulation to Fiat are the very things that make them so sought after today. Prices for these cars are up and take it from us with serious speculators and collectors now looking at them as investments and worth while additions to their collections if you want one now is the time to buy while you still can. Supplied with its original papers to allow you to register it on age related plates here in the Uk once recomissioned and ready for the road.
NOTE: The vendor tells us Unfortunately the exhaust is damaged and will need replacement when recomissioning the car

Mercedes 190E 2.0 Auto Having been off the road for a few years now due to medical problems the vendor of this very solid November 1988 first registered Mercedes 190 has decided that his eye sight will not improve to allow him to drive so its time for it to go.

Its grey exterior while very dusty at the time of being pictured is very solid with just some minor scratches etc and will polish well. Unusual in red against the grey exterior the interior is in good order throughout needing little more than a clean to brighten it up.
Mechanically its 2 litre engine and automatic gearbox are good the engine showing good oil pressure on startup and while running. Having been off the road since 2012 there is no MOT but the vendor will be placing a fresh MOT on the car prior to auction so all electrical and mechanical items pertinent to an MOT will be working and in good order. But due to it standing for so long we would recommend a level of recommissioning prior to use

Now probably one of the best starter classics available on the market today these 190s are often said to be the last of the over engineered Mercedes to be produced. Robust mechanics and a very solid body helping them to outlive many other cars of their era and making them an easy car to maintain for the amateur enthusiast.

Mini Clubman Estate 1293cc 1980 This delightful 1980 Mini Clubman Estate was subject to some major cosmetic work a few years back circa 2004. In its file are a stack of photos showing the extent of the work done to the shell fully striped all areas requiring replacement were replaced then reassembled as we see it today and painted this rather pleasant cream colour with a contrasting black roof.

Also in the paper work is correspondence with the DVLA from 2009 where a replacement engine was fitted and the owner had the V5 changed to show the new number and correct engine size of 1293cc. We can only assume that the A+ series engine that was a 1275cc unit has been over bored to the new larger capacity but have further proof of this.

What we can say is that the engine starts instantly and sounds very purposeful Delivering what is described as surprising performance? The gear box is good with no unusual whines and the clutch functions correctly.

Around the same time this work was done a lot of interior work was carried out including a nice dash being fitted. We can see from the MOT history the replacement speedometer changed the recorded mileage from 95K in November 2007 to 49K in 2008 so obviously the current odometer showing 56K is incorrect.

A few years on now the body work is still good just one or two small areas that may need some attention in the near future. Interior is nice although the head lining has come loose in places and the current MOT is through to 16th of February 2018. 2Classic shaped minis of all shapes and sizes are now very desirable and Clubman Estates are a rare sight. Offered here with a sensible reserve its ready to go to its new owner to enjoy.
