Mercedes 250SE 1966 This lovely old 250SE Merc has spent its life living in and around St Tropez in France where from 6 months old it was owned by a local garage owner then his son. On losing his dad the son no longer wanted the car so sold it to the vendor. He drove it back from France to the UK.

The black body work is very nice having been refreshed about 8 years ago. Rare to see in black it seems to emphasise this models classic lines that make these 60s Mercedes cars so desirable. Interior is original with some small areas of damage to the seats not unusual with this type of material as the perforations in the face of material tend to end up joining up unusual it has lasted this long! The rest of the seats are good and require little more than a clean. The dash door cards etc are all good. The odometer shows 31067 KMS so assume it has been round. For some unknown reason at some point in its life a 300 badge has replaced the original and correct 250 one? It is and always has been a 250 so who knows?

Mechanically the car is good and so it should be as in the cars recent history over 12000 Euros has been spent (with bills to prove) on things like new brakes all round including new front calipers. New carbs. New front suspension including shocks. New radiator battery and tyres.

The engine starts easily and once warm settles into a nice even tick over and pulls the car along in a way that only these old Mercedes do. All in all a very nice example of 60s German engineering at its best and now a very sought after car for both collectors and enthusiasts. We think it is being undervalued by the vendor and is being offered with a very low reserve. Especially for a car that with very little work has plenty of scope for a further increase in value.

Supplied with original French papers for proof of age if registering here in the UK.

Morris Ital Pick Up 1983 Having had no idea that they made an Ital Pickup we were amazed when the pictures of this one arrived!

This lovely condition Pick Up has been part of a collection of commercial vehicles and was last taxed for road use way back in 1994. Prior to this it was owned by a small family run dairy used for deliveries around the local village and as such covered very low mileage and today only has 42000 on the clock.

With production of the Ital range only lasting for 3 years and finishing in February 1984 this August 1983 model was one of the last registered.

Powered by the venerable A+ 1300cc engine while basically being a Marina under the skin so the general mechanics engine and gearbox are well proven and rugged. With the little use this Pick up has had all are in good condition.

A very rare Leyland product in unusually good all round condition. There can only be a handful of these left in one piece today so an interesting commercial vehicle for a collector or would make an excellent rolling advert for someone as publicity for their business.

Jaguar XJ12 Series 2 Low miles with Personal Plate 1978 Having been owned for most of its life by members of the same family. This rare 1978 Jaguar XJ12 then spent a lot of years in storage. Once found the new owner spent time and money recommissioning the car to get it back on the road including a new manifold back exhaust system and a set of 5 correct Dunlop SP Sport radial tyres. A short time later it was again in storage until the current owner and vendor purchased it over 3 years ago. With only 16000 Series 2 XJ 12s produced over a 7 year production run that ended early 1979 and only 3284 of these in 1978. This lovely car is ever more unusual with its dark blue exterior but with a rare red leather and walnut interior.

The body work is very solid and all the bright work is excellent just one bumper overider showing some pitting in the chrome but there is replacement one with the car. Unfortunately at some point during its periods of storage the car was covered and this has caused micro blistering to the painted surfaces and in the vendors opinion if you want to make the car really nice again a respray would be in order. This would also address the paint problems the lower edge of the sills has where the paint is poor not rusty just original 39 year old paint going thin. The good news is that the vinyl roof is in perfect condition so only a lower half respray needed. The car also has the optional GKN Kent Alloy wheels fitted that are in very good condition.

Its red leather interior is described as Beautiful with the leather seats and door cards in excellent condition the walnut trim undamaged and the carpets are the originals in very good order. Roof lining is original and very clean but has just lately started to droop in the middle so will need to be replaced as repair is rarely successful. A shame as before this the interior was totally original even down to the factory fitted radio in the dash and the original tool bag in the boot.

Mechanically the vendor has carried on replacing anything that showed signs of wear lately he replaced the drop arm bushes on the front suspension not because they were an MOT failure in fact it passed its latest MOT in March this year with no advisories but they were just beginning to creak there is also a new quality battery fitted. On the road that excellent V12 engine and being a 78 car the General Motors threespeed automatic gearbox (in place of the Britishbuilt BorgWarner units used on earlier cars) help the car to drive very nicely super smooth and powerful. Previously the car has had new brakes so it stops as well as it goes. All the electrics on the car with the exception of the rear windows are working.

With only 87000 miles registered on the odometer the vendor does feel that with the condition of the interior the lack of ever being painted exterior and the earlier service history he does have that this mileage is correct but past that he cannot prove it.

These early V12 Jag saloons rarely come to market now most are tucked away in collections. This example with little more than some TLC will certainly follow the rest of its kind and multiply in value in a very short period of time. Offered with a realistic reserve to allow for the fact it is not perfect but with 11 months MOT so ready to use and comes with the personal registration number OOO32M.

Mercedes 190E 2.0l Automatic 1990 With Mercedes 190 Models now finally getting the recognition by the classic car world for what they are a damn good car prices are now well on the way up so nice clean original cars such as this are getting hard to find.

First registered 31st December 1990 this unusually coloured 190E has only had 3 owners. As far as the current owner/vendor is concerned it is completely original. It has a full Mercedes history right up to 120K then a pile of bills etc up to its current 165K that is recorded on the clock.

Body work is very nice unfortunately it was raining when pictured but you can see by the pictures how clean and straight it is. Notice also the fitment of the optional sun roof and head light wipers.

Inside is good as well there are a couple of minor stains on the front seat bases but otherwise the rest of the interior including the door cards carpets and dash are needing little more than a hoover and a clean to make very good and there are electric windows all round another nice option.

Mechanically the 2 Litre petrol engine runs very well starts easily pulls nicely as the automatic gearbox does its thing changing correctly up and down the gears. With its service history this is not surprising as this old Merc has always been well looked after. According to the MOT history since 2006 when the car had 114K on the clock it has only ever failed one Mot in 2009 for two bulbs otherwise right up to the last test in August 2016 at 164K not even an advisory now thats a record any car would be proud of.

So if you want a good solid classic car with excellent history one that you could use every day or with little effort bring up to show standards without spending a fortune this nice Mercedes 190E could well be that car. Comes with a current MOT until 6th of September and with a nice personal plate thrown in.

Pontiac Trans Am 6.6 TTop 1979 This icon of seventies American cars the 1979 Pontiac TransAm 6.6 complete with its Screaming Eagle bonnet graphic has to be ranked along with the Mustang as one of the most recognised cars to come out of the States!

Imported into the UK when just 2 years old this particular example has spent the last ten years in a private collection. It does not appear to of been restored in its life so is very original. The Solar Gold exterior does show signs of minor touch ins being carried out over the years so to make perfect would need some attention. But it is bright and presentable as it is and these slight imperfections almost add to the cars originality. As you would have seen this is also a TTop equipped car making it more desirable and rarer than the solid roof model. The wheels are the correct and original snow Flake alloys with matching tyres all round.

With a low recorded mileage of under 85000 miles the 6.6 litre V8 under the hood is barely run in still pulling like a tank and sounding great. Lets face it a Big Block American V8 has a sound that will make 99% of car lovers smile and this 1979 car is the last year of the Big Block in this body shell.

The interior is again very original in a matching tan colour. There are some marks and even small areas you could improve but keeping to the theme of originality a good deep clean would improve things and it would be very presentable and still as it left the factory. The TTop panels are in good condition and there were no signs of the seals leaking when the car was washed.

The MOT is through to August this year and the general mechanics are all good. The car drives well through all the gears in its automatic gearbox and that Bigole V8 is more than capable of making you grin like a teenager again (and behave like one!) if asked to.

Representing very good value an excellent investment opportunity and rare on the market this TransAm is definitely one to look at whether you are a fan of American vehicles a collector of classic cars or just looking to invest.

Noble GTO3 Very Low miles 2003 Looking like it has just stepped of the race circuit with the M12 Noble really did pull of the nigh on Impossible! A car that accelerates from 0 60mph in less than 4 seconds sticks to the road like it is on rails is affordable when compared to other super cars with similar performance but ten times the price totally at home on the afore mentioned race track but totally at home on our roads and not rattling your fillings out every time you hit the slightest bump in the road surface!

They did this by dropping a 352hp turbo charged version of Fords 24 multivalve DOHC 3 litre 6 cylinder engine driving through a 6 speed manual gearbox into a car whose all up weight is less than 1100 kilos including its built in roll cage adding even more rigidity to its steel frame and G.R.P. composite body. To bring that into perspective that is the same weight as a basic 2017 Ford Fiesta!

With less than 200 GTO3s built any one of these cars would be rare but black ones even more so. Having only covered 12000 miles in total X3 GTO is in great condition throughout. The Diamond black exterior is lovely and gives the appearance of almost being wrapped around the wide alloy wheels and the high mounted rear spoiler gives a statement of intent!

Slide into its race style bucket seats and you will see that Noble did not forget the creature comfort with this car with it not only having grey Alcantara trim but also airconditioning remote control CD Radio (not that you want to drown out the exhaust note with Justin Bieber et al!) Willans harnesses in red and a race style start button.

With its very low mileage the car is spot on. In its history there is a fully documented Speedometer replacement at 9859 miles (documented with the original invoice). The mileage is confirmed as being correct by the MOT history and the 10 stamps in the service book. It has had the same owner for the last 10 years although originally he did register it in a relatives name again this is borne out by the service invoices. Currently the MOT is through to April next year so its ready for the next owner to enjoy.

Mercedes 300SEL 1990 With Mercedes service history up to 94000 miles and its MOT history there is no reason not to believe that this very nice long wheel base Mercedes 300 SEL has indeed only covered the low mileage of 114390 recorded on its odometer.

The exterior body work has not been restored so as to be expected there is the odd scab here and there but it is rot free and generally very good. Exterior bright work other than some minor pitting in the bumper chromes is nice and presentable.

The grey leather interior is very good and being the L the extra leg room in the back makes this a lovely place to travel in. Unusually both the dash and the headlining are in very good order and the carpets are also very good to. Electrically everything works apart from the heated seats.

The 3 litre engine which has just had a full service runs very smoothly pulling cleanly and there is no smoke or signs of anything untoward. The transmission is excellent with the automatic gearbox changes up and down perfectly. The rest of the general mechanics are very good in fact on the road the car is said to feel Nice and Tight. There is a current MOT until July 2017 having covering only 70 miles since its last one. This great Old Merc would be an excellent introduction to classic cars for the family man. Long neglected prices of these late eighties/early nineties S Class Mercedes are now moving swiftly up as the market realises their investment potential.

1985 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole Targa Top RHD 1985 With 1985 being the last year of production for Ferraris glorious 308 GTS this first registered in February 1985 example must be one of the last Right Hand Drive cars registered.

With only a genuine 75000 miles on the clock and complete with a folder full of service history this car has been exceptionally well looked after throughout its life. Unfortunately and very much the way of the world today some person decided to dent some of the body work in a vandal attack. The damage was very light and although no panels were replaced as the car was repaired under insurance it is now listed as having had a Category D cosmetic damage only claim against it! The car now is back in its beautiful preclaim condition.

Mechanically its 2.9 litre V8 Multi Valve engine and manual gearbox are both in excellent fettle with bills for a gearbox rebuild ( 4500) and a full service including the allimportant belts (8500 at Reg Vardy) included in the history file.

This cars fantastic spec includes a lovely cream leather interior with red piping including leather door cards further complemented by red carpets and to finish off the desirable Targa top roof panels and GTO split rim alloy wheels.

With prices of other Right Hand Drive cars on the market today approaching the 100000 mark the vendor feels that his lower reserve more than allows for the insurance claim considering the cars condition spec and history file. He will also be placing a new MOT on the car prior to the auction.

Volkswagen Golf MK1 GTi Convertible (project) When is an 80s HotHatch not a HotHatch? When it has no roof so no hatch! But that aside the convertible version of Volkswagens iconic Mk1 Golf GTi has the best of its attributes a lively engine taught chassis and legendary reliability but when the sun comes out open top motoring as well.

This nice example has 166K on the clock and a small history file showing lots of work being carried out over the years. Today it drives very well with no know mechanical problems. The engine pulls well through the gears clutch action is smooth and the general mechanics are all good.

Interior is nice with just slight signs of usage but very clean and tidy. Although the convertible roof itself is in very good condition there is damage to the inner head lining that will need to be repaired or replaced.

Unfortunately no matter how well mechanically a car from the 80s is looked after you cannot stop our weather from trying to biodegrade it! This Golf while still very presentable is just beginning to show the signs with bubbles of corrosion under the paint no holes but will need to be addressed sooner than later if you want to keep the car looking good.

A good project for someone then with a reserve to match. There will be a new placed MOT on the car prior to the auction that way you can be assured of its mechanical prowess. So get the roof down and enjoy this summer and make the cosmetics your winter project.

MG MGCGT Excellent Restoration Project 1969 With only a two year production run and with only just over 9000 built in total for all variants. MGs MGCGTs are a rare sight and a very sought after car in the Classic Car world. Prices often near to 20000 for good useable cars with the best examples selling for far more!

Today cars such as we have here very rarely come to market as most of the surviving cars have already been restored. ADH 974G is just ripe for restoration. Last taxed for road use in 1994 it has spent most of the last 20 plus years sat about only being used on a rare occasion the last time by its current owner and vendor About 3 maybe 4 years ago . As you see it in the pictures is as it is today.

NOTE: What follows are the personal opinions of a member of staff. These are just observations and not a given statement of fact. All inspections should be made by the bidder or his elected representative to form their own opinion PRIOR to bidding .This car is being offered as a car that needs total restoration:

From a quick inspection the body appears to be sound and there are signs of previous work where some paint is peeling and exposing the original paint underneath. Bottom of the doors are a bit scruffy but very salvageable. Bonnet has lost most of its paint and has some repairs along its nose but its allimportant bulge is very good the rare chrome piece at the bottom of the bulge is with the car but loose and just sat in place for the picture. Front wings are good and unusually the seams between the front wings and scuttle panel plus the rear quarters and c post are very good. Roof is excellent but the vinyl on the Webasto roof is shot. Door sills and boot floor also look to be very good. Not having had it on a ramp its hard to say but the floor looks solid and pictures have been taken to show this. The front windscreen surround and scuttle panels are both good as is the rear tailgate/hatch with its hinges operating correctly. Chrome work is all good just lightly pitted in places and all but one of the Ts on the rear hatch complete. All the glass is very good. There is a full set of 5 knockon wire wheels but the tyres are completely finished (we intend to put a couple of part worns on the two deflated ones to allow the car to be moved more easily) Paintwork is poor all over.

Interior is complete and actually with a good clean and a couple of minor repairs to the front seats will all be able to be used again a good session with the colonisers and off you go. Roof lining is there but has drooped round the edges. Dash is very good standard and complete. Carpets look good but hard to see completely.

Under the bonnet apart from the cob webs you get some idea of how good this car was before left to stand. The inner wings and bulkhead are excellent as is the front slam panel. The engine which the vendor tells us was replaced around 1988 and was running troublefree when last used appears 100% complete. Temptation to try to start it has been resisted.

MGC production finished in August 1969 so being first registered in May 69 makes this car quite a late in the production car. One that is complete and has all the makings of an excellent candidate to be restored. Offered with a sensible reserve which is set to reflect not only the work needed but also its future value once complete and its collectability.

TVR T350 T Red Rose FSH 2004 In 2002 TVR introduced the T350 to the market and as usual for them Wow comes to mind! Based on their Tamora model the T350 came with the Speed Six engine in 3.6 litre form producing 350 horse power enough to give a (claimed) 0 _ 62mph in 4.4 seconds on its way to a 175MPH top speed. Now if that was not enough they also made a hand full of what were called Red Rose cars. These had a 390 horse power motor under that sleek hood! This May 2004 example is one of these ultrarare cars. Some cars were updated to Red Rose spec later in their life but not this one it received the updates from new.

Presented in Spectraflair Silver flip paint which you really need to see in the sun to get the full effect its spectacular! Other nice touches outside are the fitting of a TVR Segaris rear spoiler plus 18 Spider alloy wheels. Notice also that as its a T 350 T model so is a Targa with lift out roof panels. Inside is a mix of Black and Mulberry leather trim and brushed aluminium finished controls plus there is airconditioning for those hot days but you want to keep the roof on.

The car has an excellent service record covering the low 44000 miles it has covered with 11 stamps in its service book and has covered less than 300 miles since it had a 12000 service (with tappets) and a new clutch assembly. The history also shows an engine rebuild was carried out at 32809 so now just about run in.

This very rare version of what is already a rare car is currently MOtd through to November this year so ready for its new owner.
