Morris Minor 4 Door Saloon 1967 This lovely 1967 Morris Minor 4 door saloon was restored approximately 8 years ago apparently by East Sussex Morris Minors and even after all this time is a testament to the quality of work carried out whoever did it.

Mazda Xedos 9 Miller 2000 This next car from the same Mazda collection is a rare Xedos 9 Miller. Now for those of you that do not know what Miller in the context of this cars name means and would like to know more than we have room here to tell you please look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miller_cycle but to put it in simple words Miller was a damn clever engineer that almost discovered the Holy Grail of Internal Combustion engine ie. More power with better economy thrown in!

With very little warning in 1998 Mazda introduced the Miller engine into their mundane family saloon car the 2.5litre V6 Xedos 9. Now what we didnt mention that by tampering with the original engines valve timing the Miller gave a flat spot on full throttle to cure this a Supercharger (yes you read that right! O nearly forgot to mention the intercooler as well !!) was used to iron this out. What this also did was up the horse power from 150 to well over 200! So while giving over 30 MPG you now have a fairly normal looking saloon car all be very well equipped one that was quoted at a very brisk 9 second 060mph figure and a 143mph top speed!

This first one of two Millers we have entered is offered with NO Reserve. Having failed its last MOT in 2016 for two silly things an insecure front number plate and a corroded front brake pipe it was then left to be done later. That never happened so there is NO MOT on this car. A member of our staff has driven the car on private roads and reports that while it pulls very well changes gears correctly and all the electrics seem to work (air con not tested) there is a noise from the front right hand wheel area that becomes better when braking with this in mind this car is not safe to drive home until this is investigated. It will need to be recovered.

The body work has suffered with various bumps and bruises around the car but the very wellappointed leather trimmed interior is in excellent condition needing little more than a wipe over.

If you want a rare Japanese car with good performance just needing some TLC this is a good proposition and with no reserve it will sell to the highest bidder.

Mazda MX6 Manual Very Low Mileage FSH 1997 Well you definitely will be Amazed at a Mazda when you see this superb 1997 Mazda MX6! From its very straight and gleaming red paint work through to its high quality and full spec grey leather trimmed interior this is a seriously nice car!

The overall condition might have a lot to do with the low recorded mileage of only 38656 miles backed up by a comprehensive service history up to 29980 in 2013 when it also had a cam belt change from there the MOT mileages prove the mileage to be correct.

1997 was the last year of production for the MX6 a car based on the same platform as the Mazda 626 and Ford rebadged Probe. Having the 2.5 V6 engine and leather trim marks this one out to be an LS model. Obviously with the mileage this one has covered plus the service history the mechanics of the car are very good with the 164hp engine driving through a smooth 5 speed manual gearbox giving good performance while still being economical on the fuel.

The classic Coupe body shape is complimented by the red colour accentuating the smooth body lines while still managing to provide ample space inside for the occupants. There is no rust apparent anywhere or damage past the odd mark it is 20 years old after all. The high quality leather seating and very well equipped interior is in very good condition throughout (there is one adjuster knob missing on the drivers seat base side) and all electrical functions work correctly.

This rare Japanese coupe is only now available due to the downsizing of a collection of rare and desirable classic and retro Mazda cars and comes with a current MOT until February next year. So whether you want an affordable Classic that you can use every day or something a bit different from the norm to become your show car this MX6 fits the bill.

Ford Thunderbird 007 Model owned by Jonathan Ross 2004 Rare and celebrity owned this superb condition 2004 Thunderbird was imported and sold to Jonathan Ross then eventually to its current owner.

Ford commissioned 700 only worldwide of these limited edition 007 Thunderbirds in this special Coral colouring to replicate the car featured being driven by Halle Berry in the James Bond film Die another Day and the coral coloured exterior colour is the colour of the Bikini she wore in the film (I know dont ask??). As the title says this rare and desirable Thunderbird was supplied new from the importers to Jonathan Ross (Google Jonathan Ross Thunderbird to see all the pictures). When the current owner received the car it had been stood unused for a time the cosmetics had suffered and had an engine fault that has since been rectified along with a service that he carried out himself.

The bright work on the outside of the car has been replaced so its now as new again and any small defects in the paintwork were professionally corrected. The interior needed little more than a good clean but the vendor had all the seats recolonised he did however retain the tasteful Leopard print sun visors Mr Ross had fitted!

What you now have is a mint low mileage Thunderbird in the very rare Limited James Bond 007 spec in the rarest colour it was offered in with 11 months MOT and owned by a famous celebrity it really does not get much better than that!!! The owner is reducing his collection and has priced this car to sell with a very sensible reserve.

Melling V8 Chevrolet powered Wild Cat 2008 The car we have here today is Wildcat Number 5 built 31.10.08 and was fairly recently bought through auction from Als daughter the only registered keeper of the car. Sold as needing minor recommissioning it turned out that the car needed a little bit more than that!! It had been off the road for years and looks to of only ever been taken to car shows etc as a marketing tool so never really fully completed a proto type in the real sense of the word.

The current owner set about doing everything that needed to be done including but not limited to a one off handmade exhaust system rectify all the nonworking (aka not plugged in) electrical system free the brakes off remove the faulty alarm system that meant the car was a nonrunner when received mount the main body pieces correctly and a multitude of other small fiddly things that were required for a UK MOT which it now has.

Now the car is what it is meant to be! A stunning looking one off AmericanV8 powered no compromise open top sports car (there is no roof). The hand finished interior is in lovely condition the V8 Chevrolet engine under the hood sounds like only a V8 can with a lovely off beat tick over and that growl that cannot be mistaken when under load. With only 600 miles on it there is still some running in to be done before you can use it fully but suffice to say its quick! The body in its stunning orange metallic paint work has survived storage and being shipped round Europe to the shows surprisingly well with only a couple of very minor imperfections.

This is now thought to be the only survivor actually on the road in the UK. The motor is in a base tune and with all the bits available on the market 500+ horse power on pump fuel is available if you like your car to have that sort of performance one that with this cars weight would whip most things out there. Definitely not for the wall flower or feint hearted but what a lovely thing to own.

Jaguar XJR Supercharged 1994 This nice 1994 Jaguar XJR represents the chance to own a Proper Jag for the price of a cheap and decidedly unhot hatch back.

First registered in November 1994 its Carnival Red exterior is in excellent condition while the very wellappointed interior is also very good with little wear to its oat meal coloured leather and lovely wood trims. There are a couple of electrical gremlins however with the sunroof and boot not opening.

Mechanically it is good and the current MOT is through to December. There is however an exhaust blow will need to be addressed before the next MOT other than that the car drives well. Recorded mileage is a low 85000 miles but unfortunately there is no service history to back this up.

We have said this many times before but there are certain cars that the classic car world passed by in the rush of ever increasing demand and prices these lovely Jags are one such car but now with the market waking up to them this car is probably one of the last ones to be offered in this sort of price range so our advice is to grab one while you can.

Mini Backie Pick up 1275cc 1977 Having started its life as a Knock Down Kit and shipped out to South Africa to be re assembled. This cheeky looking Mini Backie (Pick Up) was first registered in 1977 but obviously is an earlier model than that just the way South africas registration process works. At some point since it has been refreshed throughout and is still in a very presentable condition today.

Body work is very straight and the paint has a nice shine to it. Obviously being in the dry all its life having only recently being imported it has not suffered the usual tin worm their British counterparts do. Under the bonnet is a very healthy 1275cc engine and a very clean engine bay. The engine fires straight up aided by an electric fuel pump and shows good oil pressure. On the road this plus the lighter weight of a pickup compared to a saloon or estate translates to a lively performance that makes you smile when you drive it. This car loves to be on country roads with the wider Mini Lite style wheel and tyre package that are fitted helping it round the twisty bits even more.

Gear box and clutch are smooth in operation all electrics work and the overall general mechanics are described as good. Interior is presentable with nonstandard seats giving a bit more comfort and support being wider they do snag slightly when folded forward resulting in some slight damage to the outer side of the drivers seat upright not visible when in the down position.

With Pick Ups being far less common than saloons etc they are a rare sight on todays roads!

Jaguar XKR Supercharged Low Mileage. 2005 The later Supercharged version of Jaguars excellent GT car the XKR has got to be one of the best Bang for Bucks car on the market. With prices of up to 70000 when new the initial depreciation was horrendous. But what that now means and people are realising this is that these superb 400 horsepower Jaguars are a stunning buy and prices are definitely on the way back up.

This particular example presented in a nice subtle colour combination of metallic grey exterior over an ivory interior is a late in the production run March 2005 car and as such has the 4.2 litre engine introduced in 2003 with an extra 25 horse power and increased torque not that it really needed either! Plus the later 6 speed auto gearbox. Both of which are stated to be in excellent fettle.

The exterior of the car is also excellent needing no more than to continue to be waxed and cared for like the previous owners have. While the black alloy wheels and mesh inlays in the bonnet louvres and front grill give it a presence not many other cars produced today can match.

Inside? Well to quote a certain Mr Clarkson when he likened the interior of the XK To sitting inside Blenheim Palace. The ivory leather and burl walnut trim used in this car makes the cabin feel airy and both are in excellent condition. Electrically everything on the car works as Jag designed it to and all the general mechanics are also stated as Excellent.

One thing the vendor has asked us to bring to any interested parties attention is that while he does have some Main Dealers invoices and the on line MOT History shows the low recorded mileage of only 75500 to be correct he has lost the cars leather wallet with all the hand books and service history in it but he does have both its keys and remote key fobs.

With a current MOT until February 2018 and with a reserve set at a price that you would struggle to buy a half decent new 1000cc Euro Box for!!

Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto 1600cc 1966 One Owner Car This glorious and painfully pretty 1966 Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto 1600 was purchased by its one owner from the Alfa Romeo main dealers one mile from his house in Paris. They are still there as is he and they have serviced it from new. So this car is not only exceedingly rare but is a One owner with history car not many can boast that!

Coming to us direct from Paris the car will have its French papers but we will not have had time to put it through the UK registration process. If this is required then we will do this for a UK buyer after purchase if not required we can arrange transport (at buyers cost) using the original papers.

While the car has remained in use the distance covered each year has become minimal as time went on the car staying in a collection out of the weather for the winter months and more. The body work has been refreshed in its time and looks good today being very solid in the boot floor and front inner wing areas and the paint work is very presentable with a deep shine. The soft top hood is in very good condition with only very slight discolouring to the rear window.

The interior is original and in very good condition complete with its rubber floor mats and period radio in the dash. It still has the stickers on the windscreen telling you how to run the engine in from new and tyre pressures for different makes of tyres!

Mechanically the vendor tells us that everything is very good the engine gives good oil pressure and once warmed through a nice even tick over. Gearbox is smooth in operation and the clutch functions correctly. General mechanics including brakes and electrics are good.

We are expecting this little gem to be in the UK by the end of the third week of April so we will update this listing then with further details. Please contact us to register your interest in this piece of automotive art.

Ford Modeo 1.8LX Mk1 1995 Very Low Mileage While researching this car I discovered a strange fact. In 1995 when launched there were 134300 Ford Mondeo 1.8LX Manuals registered on the road in the UK. By 2001 when numerically there were the most 1.8LX Manuals registered for road use the number was exactly double at 268300! Strange Eh? But even stranger where have they all gone today?

Once the first choice for sales men and company cars the 1.8 engine was introduced to make the most of the then government tax laws so many of the cars did hundreds of thousands of miles were run into the ground then scrapped. Whereas N159BWC was the lucky one having only covered a mere 38000 miles and is in a lovely condition.

Its owner reports all aspects of the car as being Excellent and that no restoration work has been carried out as its not been needed. There are many every day cars that become invisible to us so many of them you dont notice them anymore. It is only when they are gone and a survivor like this one pops up that you realise how long it is since you have seen one. Definitely one to buy now and put away then watch its value go up. Better than money in the bank without a question!

Note : Last MOTd 27 October 2015 and covered less than 200 miles since there will be a new MOT placed on the car prior to auction.
