We are open until Tuesday 23 December 2025 from 8:30am to 4:00pm and will reopen on Friday 2 January 2026 for normal working hours.
We are also open for collections only on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 December from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Appointments are required, so please contact the office to arrange a time.

Chevrolet Step Side V8 Pickup. 1978 Having previously sold this very good condition 1978 Chevrolet Step Side truck at one of our auctions it has been back out to France where it was originally imported from served its purpose and then back to us to resell!
Still in excellent order through out with a strong 5 litre V8 up front. It starts first time every time and soon settles to a very even and quiet tick over. On the road it pulls cleanly and runs up through the automatic gearbox nicely. The twin big bore exhausts making a nice but not obnoxious note. There seems to be little or no tram lining common to these trucks. Brakes are servo assisted and work very well. Steering is power assisted. Tyres are good allround. The body work looks to be rust free and is as solid underneath as on top with a nice checker plated rear bed.
Interior is nice and equipped with electric windows and door locks although the passenger window does not seem to work. All the gauges work correctly displaying good oil pressure. There is a brake warning light on telling you the emergency (hand) brake is on when it is not. This does flash when you operate the release lever so is probably down to adjustment of the switch. Does not affect the driving but worth mentioning. The seat belts are fitted and their warning light works correctly.
The truck is still on French papers but easy enough to register into onto UK plates if staying in the UK will need an MOT and insurance to do so. Not currently Motd so cannot legally be driven away from the auction. Transport can be arranged.
Volvo P1800S Right Hand Drive Project 1969 This very desirable and probably most recognised car to come out of Sweden was originally bought by the vendor to restore to show quality. Now due to a change in circumstances this rare Right Hand Drive 1968 Volvo P1800S is being offered here as a running and driving project needing some restoration.
The engine starts very easily and runs nicely. Gear box and clutch function correctly. Body work is good with no major problems or corrosion and with the paint needing some rectification work to bring it back to perfect. The chassis is good but the vendor says that having looked himself and although it has passed every MOT since 2011 with no advisories and the last one only ran out in July last year he feels that there is a small amount of welding required for the next one. There is also a pile of invoices for work done going back to 1995 so this has been a well looked after car in its time.
Interior is all present and yes could do with some work here and there but useable as is if you just want a daily driver. All the electrics are working apart from the speedometer itself there is a mileage declaration sheet from 2012 stating that the speedo is broken but there is a replacement in the boot and the ignition switch is faulty so a push button has been wired in to allow for starting.
So expect to do some work how much is whether you want a daily driving easy to live with classic car or a full blown show car? Either way with the value of these cars today it will be worth it.

Phew now you see what I mean! The vendor has spent a Kings Ransom on this car. He does say that there are a couple or very minor imperfections in the paintwork as it was not built as a show car so not show standard. But when you can eat your dinner of the underneath of the car??
This is a serious bit of kit and not for the feint hearted. As he said it was built for the track and although it is MOTd so can be used on the road creature comforts were bottom of the list.This is what M3 BMWs were built for and this lovely example of probably one of the best cars from the 80s carries on that tradition.
