Wow! What the hell is that? Yes ladies and gentlemen, this is exactly what it looks like … a Trike powered by a 5.3 V12 Fuel Injected Jaguar XJS Engine and the product of one mans obsession to "create" something a bit special. Over 4,000 man hours and £50,000 + later the "Jike Trike" was born. There is no point in trying to describe this vehicle as you really need to study it for hours to do it justice. Virtually the whole thing is hand made and one off where the chassis etc are concerned with the original car donating its running gear, back end and rear seats. It really does make you proud that there are still people out there that continue the "anything is possible if you think about it" engineering philosophy that we are famous for here in the UK. For those of you that want the ultimate toy or an interesting revenue stream as people will queue up to hire it for Proms, weddings etc. This IS the only one in the world!

Ford Capri 1600GT 1972 - Recently repatriated from Germany is this UK spec Right Hand Drive 1600GT MK1 Capri.Since February 1992 it has been owned and on display at a Ford Main dealership in Europe, as part of a personal collection of classic cars after receiving a body restoration (at this time it was changed from its original blue colour to the resplendent orange colour you see today) .The interior is said to be original and in excellent condition. It is rare to have a full "webasto" type roof also in excellent order. In December 2015 it was refreshed prior to being put back on the road and registered as historic. This included new tyres, brake pipes, water pump etc. and it passed the very stringent local test with flying colours.UPDATE:Now with us here in the UK, having just completed a 1000KM drive from Germany, through weather that was forcing many modern cars to pull over, without missing a beat! Now with its UK MOT which it passed with no advisories and during which the MOT tester took pictures as he had never seen a MK1 Capri that has never had or did not need welding underneath! Interior as we were told, is excellent with all the gauges etc working as they should. Even the original Ford radio works! Back on its original UK registration number.Mechanically it is very strong. No nasty whines from the back axle like so many old Fords. Engine runs smoothly with good oil pressure and water temperature. Brakes work as they should having had new wheel cylinders prior to its trip.Just a lovely MK1 Capri that is truly "Turn Key" and ready to go having returned to its Spiritual home, Essex.

Citroen 2CV 1985 Fully Restored - This beautiful 2CV has been subject to a full restoration bringing it back to a factory fresh finish and is probably one of the best 2CV's on the market today. The vendor who also restored it, was not aiming for an over the top shiny trinket but more the original finish of a new car as it would have been in a showroom back in 1985.

Where ever possible this theme of originality has been stuck to and this shows no better than when you examine the paintwork. The brief to the painter charged with the job was to use original type paint and laid on to the factory colours. The result is excellent with the blue being contrasted nicely by the cream. This was no "paint what can be seen exercise" but a total paint inside and out. Lift the mats inside, or look under the seats and you will see the same level of care and attention.

Mechanically it received a rebuilt engine complete with a new fly wheel and clutch, the engine having suffered from standing for so long as the car was off the road from 1996. All other mechanical items were stripped and rebuilt or replaced where necessary. The freshly restored road wheels were then shod with a set of new tyres.

The interior? Well have a look at the pictures or examine it on the day, what can you say other than it is excellent and as close to new as you will find. Retrimed correctly in the right cloth pattern and correct colour. While apart all the electrics were renewed so everything works correctly, not that there is a lot to go wrong in the first place, but no nasty old wires suffering from years of home "maintenance" on this car.

So if you are looking for a 2CV that is almost new you would not go far wrong with this one. Only 48718 miles on the clock, complete with some history and its handbooks, jack and wheel brace, somebody is going to be very happy to own it to use or to show. Prices of good 2CV's just keep going up year on year so this could also be an excellent investment opportunity and one you would not have to spend a penny on. There will also be a new MOT on the car so its ready to go on the day.

Jaguar MK2 3.8 Manual with Overdrive - Manufactured in 1961 and first registered on 1st January 1962, this Mk2 Jaguar has had an active past.Sold new to Colchester Tractors and registered as AJH73A, by the mid-sixties it was being raced by a Mr R. Wilkinson. Then by the mid 80's, a Mr. M. Large was competing in it, prior to which he restored all the panel work, removing any rust (pictorial evidence available) and respraying it from the white it was in to the red you see today.Prior to sale to the vendor, the race engine was removed and the original 3.8 was refitted. Many of the modifications are still in place, including the "Coombs-style" fluted bonnet, battery relocated to the boot, wide rear axle with up-rated suspension and brakes, larger carbs and performance exhaust system etc. The vendor says that Coombs themselves were rumoured to of been involved but we have no way of confirming this and you must value this information as such.Bodywork is described as "Good" and is very solid having had many panels replaced when restored but that was 30 years ago, so now has areas that need some cosmetic attention. The underneath of the car is excellent and the mechanics in general, which have also beed described as "Good", operate as they should. The interior is original and as such needs some attention, predominately to the front seats but being original is described by the vendor as "Good".All in all, a lovely MK2 with some racing heritage that drives very well.

Lotus Cortina MK2 Right Hand Drive - With only 34 Lotus Cortina's now listed as registered with DVLA in total, they are a rare site but ask yourself "When was the last time you saw a MK2??"

Being the even rarer of the two Lotus Cortina Models this MK2 was built in 1968 and is a UK car so right hand drive. Having been restored, is rust free and was resprayed in the original factory colours.

Engine and gearbox are very good with the engine having had a recent rebuild apx. 200 miles ago so will still need an amount of running in, plus an oil and filter change is recommended in another 300 or so miles to be on the safe side.

Interior is very nice with just a small crack in the dash pad on the top of the instrument binnacle and a lovely patina of age, while mechanically it is described as all very good. Under the bonnet where the interesting bit is, is very nice and with very little work would be show worthy, but to hell with that! These cars are meant to be driven with the engine, exhaust note and handling only a Lotus Twin Cam can give, there to be enjoyed.

Prices on all "Fast Fords" rise year on year and this represents a chance to buy one of the most desirable Fords produced. With the car receiving a fresh mot prior to the auction, it will be ready for its new owner.

Ford Cortina 1.6 MK5 - Considering just how many Mk5 Cortina's that were once on our roads, especially here in Essex, seeing one at all is a very rare site let alone one in this true "Survivor" condition with just over 25000 miles on the clock!

In its original factory colour of Tuscan Brown this 1981 W registered MK5 is described as a 1.6L Model with factory fitted GL interior and wheels and has had 4 previous registered keepers in its life.

As you can see its condition, along with all its previous MOT's, backs up the mileage. The lack of corrosion is on the whole from having an anti-rust "Ziebart" treatment from new (original Ziebart certificate is present with the cars paperwork) along with the obvious lack of use during bad weather.

Interior is excellent with just the slightest signs of usage and all original. The condition of its switch gear etc bears testimony to their lack of use over the years.

Since owning the car, the vendor has carried out regular maintenance and repairs to keep the car not only in its current condition but running and driving correctly. Including but not limited to a new "Weber" carburettor with a manual choke conversion. A full service including a new cam shaft kit with the very necessary replacement oil feed bar to get rid of the original poor Ford designed bar that caused so many noisy camshafts back in the day. New shock absorbers and springs and a fully "Polly-Bushed" front suspension. With all this done the car drives very well with no mechanical faults and all the electrics operate as designed.

The car comes as mentioned previously, with all its old MOT's and Ziebart certificate, plus old tax discs, bills to prove the work listed above and its original bill of sale. Currently the car is on "SORN", the previous MOT running out March 2016. The vendor also says it comes with some spares but at the moment we are not aware of what these comprise of.

This car is already good enough to be a show car and with a little effort could well be a show winner. A must for any Ford collector.

This car is already good enough to be a show car and with a little effort could well be a show winner. A must for any Ford collector.

MG MGB GT 1981 - Sold new in 1981 to a lady in St Helier Jersey, this superb example of probably one of Great Britains most loved sport car remained n Jersey and in her ownership until August 2007 when it was sold to and imported by Abingdon services, by which time it had covered a mere 36,819 miles. It was then sold to its second owner who along with some general light refurbishment he also treated it to a full interior re-trim in black leather. In 2012 and with still only 37,700 the car was sold at auction to the current owner and vendor. It was bought for a father and son to enjoy days out and classic motoring when the father recovered from an on going illness. Unfortunately the father never did get to enjoy the car as he never recovered and the car was left stationary in the sons garage until now , still with only 38,496 miles recorded. Now we have been entrusted by the vendor to recover the car and get it running prior to sale. It needed little more than some fresh petrol and a new battery and starter relay and burst straight into life.
So here you have a very late model, low mileage car in a lovely colour combination, that while the body work is very good, needs minor remedial work here and there. Underneath is superb.Interior seats are very nice with all electrics appearing to work including a electric fan fitted to the radiator. Engine and gearbox (with overdrive) are very good with good oil pressure showing on the engine. Under the bonnet is all original apart from the fan and relay, no rust on the bulk head etc. In fact with very little work and some basic recomissioning the car could be made into a show piece especially with the recorded mileage. Supplied with its service book.

Triumph Stag 1976 - Having owned this Stag for the last nine years the vendor assures us that mechanically it is fully sorted with no problems. He has always serviced it himself, the last job was to change the water pump and bearing, not because it was gone but more preventive maintance as this car still has its original Triumph V8 engine and a poor water pump is one of the things that can lead to problems with cooling.
Prior to his ownership in 1991, 22000 miles ago, the engine was infact fully rebuilt by the local Triumph specialist with the invoice to prove.
Interior is original and in good condition and there is a new soft top just been fitted along with new tyres all round. The body work is good with just a couple of areas that could be improved. The vendor states all the mechanics are good and the car drives very well with the manual gearbox and overdrive functioning as they should and with the car comes various old bills and MOT's.
A nice "drivers" car offered at a sensible price that you can jump in and use as is or improve as you go. Rare with the Triumph engine.
