Morris Marina 1.8 Coupe 1972 - Being first registered in 1972 this lovely and now very rare 1.8 Marina coupe is a true survivor from the days of trade unions and British Leyland. Complete with just about all the 70's add on extras that were available back then. The overall condition of the exterior is good with just some minor bubbling under the paint at the base of the front windscreen on one corner and with the paintwork having received attention at some time in its life, is bright and shiny. Interior is totally original and in very good condition throughout and having never had a radio fitted, the dash is un-cut and un-cracked.

Under the bonnet is where the surprise is. Apart from the lack of corrosion, a very clean engine bay and the newly fitted electronic ignition, you will find an MGB engine which according to the vendor, produces apx. 82 BHP and makes this Marina so much more fun to drive. Starting instantly every time and pulling well through all the gears while giving the car a much better and less stressed cruising speed on motorways and dual carriageways.

Over all mechanics are also very good with £700 being spent recently on a new wiper motor, clutch slave cylinder, steering rack and track rod ends plus rear brake shoes, pipes and wheel cylinders all for its MOT in June this year so current MOT is until June 2017.

Coming with its hand books, old MOTs, bills and other various paper work this car really would make an unusual addition to any collection or an excellent first classic to take to the shows.

Triumph Dolomite 1500 SE 1980 - "1979 saw the introduction of the Dolomite SE, of which 2163 were built. The bodyshell was of the basic 1500 (single headlamps) but the interior was fitted with luxury trim including burr walnut dashboard and door cappings (the dashboard was the same style as fitted to that of the Dolomite 1300), grey velour seats and matching carpet. All the cars were painted black with wide silver stripes running full length, with the letters "SE" at the end of the rear wing. The SE also sported a front spoiler and Spitfire style road wheels"

This delightfull example is one of only 10 Dolomite 1500 SE's left on UK roads. Complete with all its original SE extras and described as very good in all areas, with a very small amount of work, could be a very unusual show car.

Engine and engine bay are both very clean with the engine starting easily and once warm, pulls cleanly through the twin carburettors, giving suprisingly brisk perfomance when pressed. Gearbox and clutch are both smooth in operation and the exhaust has recently been replaced with a stainless steel item.

Interior is very good and even still has the original Unipart radio fitted. Rear seats look too of never been sat on and fronts not far behind. The door cappings could do with the varnish renewing to bring up to the standard of the rest of the interior but the dash wood is excellent.

The original black extrior still polishes up nicely with no major damage etc and the SE stripes are complete. Original dealer stickers are still on front and rear screens.

Coming with a new MOT prior to auction and with a lot of old MOT's so ready for its new owner.

Ford Escort 1.6LX Auto 1992 - A modern classic in the making is this low mileage and lovely condition Ford. Having been family owned, wife the husband, from new. Until the current owner bought it from the family estate. Unfortunately the son that was the executor of the will could not find the history etc for his parent's car so although the very low mileage of 59K recorded on the clocks appears correct, there is no history supplied with the car. What there is is VOSA show on their records that in 2006 the car had covered 49171 miles, that is where their records start, then from there you can see the mileage slowly move up.

As you can see the overall condition of the car is very good. With its red paint in very good order with no rust or damage. The engine benefits from being the 1600cc unit that pulls it along nicely and the gearbox works as designed. The current owner has used it for a couple of longer trips where it performed admirably and returned good economy at motorway speeds.

The grey/blue velour interior is very good with little sign of wear and all the electrics function well and there is a current MOT through to May next year. As with all Fords of this Era they are teetering on becoming "Classics" in the real sense and the best ones to invest in are cars like this, standard and in very good order and with prices are rising accordingly.

Mercedes 300SL Convertible 1991 - Needing no introduction these early 90's mercedes convertibles are probably one of the best buys on the market today giving "soft top" motoring in a quality car for a rediculously low price, but this is all begining to change with nice examples now going up in value and becoming very sought after by those in the know.

This particular car is definately in that category, not only being finished in what a lot of people consider to be the best colour combination of a silver exterior over a full black leather interior, but with only 94910 miles on the clock and having been owned last by a very particular member of the Mercedes Owners Club.

The exterior is imaculate with little or no signs of usage and complimented by a colour matched hard top and a brand new last year, set of genuine Mercedes alloy wheels shod with expensive Continental tyres. The electrically operated black soft top is in superb order and is fully fuctioning.Interior is more of the same with unlike most offerings, lovely supple and un-damaged leather that has obviously been "fed" regularly.Again the previous owner was not happy with the carpets and kick plates so these were also changed last year for new items. Coming fully loaded with options including air conditioning and cruise control all of which function correctly.

The three liter engine fitted to this car manages to strike a lovely balance of delivering a nice punch when needed but still giving good fuel economy with the automatic gearbox changing smoothly. All other mechanical functions are very good. Supplied with the car is the original owners pack, service history and old MOT's plus the current MOT which is until March next year.

This really is a fantastic example of this appreciating classic and not to be confused with a lot of other lesser cars on offer today. One to buy and keep for sure.

Armstrong Siddeley 12-6 Saloon 1933 - Having purchased this car in 1997 the vendors father spent many an hour tinkering in the garage, making what was already a good car, better. Unfortunately in 2008 he passed away and left this and the rest of his collection to his son. Since then, other than being run out on the odd occaision to keep everything free and operational, it has remained where he parked it. Having decided that it was time for it to go we are proud the vendor has chosen us to do this for him.

The car in question is a very rare model 1933 Armstrong Siddeley 12- 6 Model, designating it as having a 12hp 6 cylinder engine.Previous to the vendors father purchasing it, it had under gone a full restoration and is still in excellent condition externally. The interior trim shows slight signs of dryness to the seat leather, or "Patina" as its often called, otherwise is very nice with all the rear blinds, exit handles etc in place. Mechanically it is spot on and would need very little re-comissioning if any acording to the vendor, prior to use. The 6 cylinder engine and its "pre-select" gearbox both operate well and it brakes in a straight line. Obviously you do have to remember it is a Vintage car and should be treated as such.

The other notable thing about this car is its history file with invoices, bills of sale etc stretching right back over its lifetime, complete with old pictures of its restoration at the end of the 80's. These cars rarely come to the market and as such we feel the vendor is being very realistic with his reserve on this beautiful bit of motoring history.

Jaguar E type Series 111 5.3 1972 - Having not seen the light of day since 2007 when the current owners father sadly passed away, we are happy to of been asked to market this beautiful piece of British motoring history. This 3 owner 5.3 V12 Series 111 E type was first registered in 1972 and still with less than 40K on the clock. It is in superb all round condition with the original interior having just the right amount of patina to look correct but not worn or tatty. Mechanically it is superb but, unfortunately the previous owner 17 years ago had a van drive into the front of the car damaging the bonnet, rad etc and back in the day, with parts being very expensive but much lower car values, the insurance company deemed it a "Category C" damaged car so it is listed on HPI.
At this point the sellers father, who himself was a salvage dealer, bought the car and had it professionally repaired using only genuine parts, these totaled in excess of £4000 , then painted to factory finish. You would never know it had been damaged .
As you can see by the title and what makes this car unusual, apart from its mileage and it's a UK Right Hand Drive car that has not been rusty! Is it an Automatic transmission model which according to the owner, makes the whole driving experience even better as he says " you don't drive it like a race car so why bother with a heavy clutch and clunky gearbox?"

Coming complete with a massive history file, old MOT's, bills of sale, invoices and reciepts all backing up its very low recorded miles of just over 34000 Now with a new MOT and with the reserve price set at a very sensible price for such a beautiful car, one that more than compensates for its insurance claim if that even wories you?

Austin 16 1946 - With its new for this model, 4 cylinder 2199cc engine producing 67hp helping to make the Austin "Sixteen" a good choice when looking for a post war classic car that you can use on today's road, these cars are rarely offered for sale.

Here we have a lovely non restored example of this model that was first registered in 1946.The vendor, who has owned it for the last 8 years, states its condition as "good" in all areas. Now taking into account that it has not been stripped to its bones at any point, its condition is actually very nice with areas of patina concurrent with its age. This car is one to be used and enjoyed.

Its black and maroon bodywork is solid with that deep lustre only coming with older paintwork while its brown leather and cloth interior reminds of how things used to be done by Austin, before the days of British Leyland. General mechanics are good with the engine pulling well and all other functions operating properly.

Offered here with a very sensible reserve price. To be used as is or with some minor improvements, be ready for next year's show season.

Mercedes 350SL 1972 - Still one of the prettiest Mercedes sports cars produced and instantly recognised, if you buy an R107 Model you will have to get used to hearing "Nice Merc" when you're out in it.

This very pretty early example has been well maintained by its owners with anybody work needed being rectified throughout its life so now is in good overall condition but just a few blemishes. Interior is the same. The interiors on all Mercedes of this era are not known for their longevity but this cars two tone interior is original and just need s a little tidying.

The level of engineering quality that Mercedes poured into these cars means that on the whole, unless abused, the engine gearbox and transmission are not normally a problem and this car is no different with its 3500cc V8 engine being very good and still pulling strongly while the other areas of the transmission are good too. All other functions, apart from the electric aerial, work correctly.

Coming with its colour matched hard top, a good soft top and an MOT this car is being offered with a reserve set at half of what we have seen comparable cars being sold for so someone is going to get a bargain!!

Mercedes 280e 1993 - Fast becoming a popular choice for the person that wants a classic car, one that can take the kids to school during the week and then to do the car shows in at the weekend, the 280e Mercedes ticks all the boxes and currently, at a ridiculously low price. The 6 cylinder engines are famed for the prodigious mileage they will do when maintained and after the corrosion problems of the 80's, these marked a return to Mercedes quality.

This particular car was registered to Mercedes from 93 to 94 when it was sold to its first private owner who then owned it until it was passed on to his son in his will. He then sold it to its current owner along with the fathers other car which he has kept and is offering this one at a low reserve. There was one other twist in the tale. When he HPi'd the car it showed as Cat C due to a claim in 2011. When asking the son if he knew this he claimed that the car had never had a claim while in his father's ownership. The vendor then contacted various insurance companies etc that said they had no knowledge of a claim either. As a final go, he contacted Waterhouse Mercedes, who had serviced the car throughout its life and they did indeed find records of it having a new back bumper (only), in 2011. So that has to be it, you can deduce that the cost of a new rear bumper being supplied and fitted by Mercedes against the value of the car, resulted in it having a Cat C marker put on it!

The overall exterior condition is very good, with just some slight lacquer peel in places and some corrosion to the road wheels. Interior is also good, again just some minor cracks on a facia panel. Engine wise everything is very good, with 159K on the clock it is just about run in and has always been serviced (Last service was at 156978 in 2015). The automatic transmission is very good as well, operating as designed, in fact the overall condition of the running gear is stated as very good.

With its MOT current through to March next year and with its mechanics etc being all good, this is ready to go. A bit of class for less than a bad holiday for two in Benidorm, figure that?

Ford Zephyr Mk2 "Low Line" Manual with Overdrive 1961 - This last year of production for the MK2 Zephyr has previously been in long term ownership, during which time had under gone a full refresh to its body work, addressing any problems on the way and becoming the lovely example you see today. Unfortunately due to a loss in the family it is now looking for a new owner that will cherish it in the same way.

As already mentioned its bodywork is lovely and with new paint that was done a while back, so has lost that "just done" look. The vendor says there were no major areas of rust in the first place, just tired 50 year old paint that had its share of chips and scratches. Chrome work is very good all round and the look of the car is complimented by a set of brand new period "white wall" tyres and the much sought after front screen visor. The car sits nicely with the correct stance and no sign of the back end drooping.

Inside needed nothing more than a clean with its original seat covers etc being left in place and still considering their age, in excellent condition. It would be a shame to lose that originality for just a couple of nicks here and there. Dash is very nice with the rectangular set up peculiar to the "Low Line" model this is. Carpets, door panels etc are nice with just a small amount of ageing apparent on the steering wheel.

Engine wise all is excellent with the 2553cc engine starting instantly and soon settling into a smooth tick over. On the road it behaves as designed, pulling nicely through all the gears, no nasty noises. Brakes, well the are 1961 brakes and need a good shove, but are more than up to the job and stop in a straight line, helped by the new tyres all round .

Electrics work all round but unfortunately someone broke the areal so that has been removed and so has the heater blower. This car is a superb example of a much loved and admired car. Values are going up daily and nice cars are hard to find especially at the very sensible level the vendor has set the reserve at. So weather it's a show car, an investment of a useable classic that is easy to up-keep you are looking for, this one ticks all the boxes. Mot'd until June next year so ready to go.

MG MGA 1500 Roadster 1955 Right Hand Drive - Having been fully restored in New Zealand prior to the vendor buying it and shipping to the UK to become part of his collection, this very very pretty car is a great example of this sought after British Sports car.

Being an NZ car it has never been rusty and is an original Right Hand Drive car, not a converted Left Hand Drive like so many offered on the market today. Being powered by MG's 1500cc unit, which was reconditioned during the restoration, coupled to a 4 speed manual gearbox, the vendor describes it as excellent for the engine and transmission, with it being show quality under the bonnet.

The interior was fully retrimed with light brown leather that contrasts nicely with the white exterior of the bodywork, this includes not only the seats but door trims and dash roll as well. The dash itself received the same level of attention with any faults being rectified and is now gorgeous. Its black convertible hood, complete with side screen, was renewed so the back window is crystal clear.

On the road, everything functions as it should with brakes, electrics and general mechanics all being very good. Tyres are all new being replaced at the same time the road wheels were restored.

While not registered for the UK yet, the vendor has all the relevant paperwork to do so onto the correct historic number plate and is more than happy to guide you through the process, so you would be the only registered keeper here in the UK .

BMW E30 325i Cabriolet Automatic 1991 - You would have to look long and hard to find a better example of an E30 325i Cabriolet than the one we have here. Its current owner had no intention of selling it and was bringing it up to show standards before loosing his winter storage. On finally locating a suitable car he had the interior professionally retrimed in a high quality leather and the result is superb. Only the original steering wheel shows so signs of wear.

Next attention was turned to the bodywork which recieved again a very high quality re-spray in the original quality paint and is set off by many new chrome pieces , exterior fittings etc that were replaced where needed. The body kit was fully removed to confirm there were no horrors lurking beneath it, there were not so after being painted the body kit was then replaced. The original roof is still in place and in very good order, just the rear window begining to yellow. Mechanically all was checked and if needed, replaced but as the car had been maintained so well, borne out by the file of papers that come with it and with a sensible mileage of 131K on the clock, not a lot needed doing past new tyres.

Engine is BMW's excellent 6 cylinder 325 injection unit, producing more than enough power for most people and backed up by their smooth changing automatic transmission. These are both capable of doing prodigous miles if maintained and the both units in this car behave as if just left the factory. Electrics are all fully functioning and in good order.

So now we have an excellent condition throughout 1991 325i BMW that with its MOT till July next year is ready to go. You might find cheaper but with prices up year on year , doubt you will find better.

Studebaker Business Coupe 1947 - Just waiting for further details but what can be said is that this recently imported from Texas 1947 "Studie Business Coupe" is rare in the States and just about un-seen on UK roads. Chosen to import by the vendor specifically for its great body work and its "Flat head Six" motor. He now needs the space and to free up the capitol so this and Lot 167 which is his also, are to go.
