Selling and Valuation Guide:

Selling at Stacey's could not be easier; we have a number of ways to consign goods into our forthcoming auction sales.

To maintain the high standards of our auctions, all lots must be assessed by one of our valuers before it can be entered into auction. It also gives an opportunity to discuss estimates and reserves. There are number of ways of receiving a valuation which can be seen below:

Valuation Days:

We hold regular valuation days by appointment. This enables you to bring along any items you wish to consign to auction, or have valued, between 9.30am and 4pm on the promoted dates which can be found by clicking here.

Online Valuations:

If you are able to photograph your item we can normally provide an estimate online, email us at valuations@staceyauction.com, attach the images, briefly describe as much you know about the piece and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Some items may need to be seen in person to give a full assessment and from here we can arrange an appointment to suit you.

Home Visits:

If you are unable to bring your items to us, or have a large collection of items we would recommend arranging a home visit. We travel all across the South East to visit customers at home without fees for the visit or valuation. If you decide to place any items into auction, we can also arrange collection. To book an appointment for a home visit simply e-mail or call us on 01268 777122.

Appointments at our office:

If you are unable to make one of our valuation days we can also book you an appointment to see a valuer at a more convenient time. Appointments can be booked via e-mail of over the phone on 01268 777122.

The catalogue for each of our sales is updated daily and is fully accessible at least a week before the sale. To give maximum coverage of our sales, lots are also available to view on other websites and forums. Our database of over 20,000 collectors, dealers and investors receive email notification of all our auctions and the lots within. And finally a colour illustrated catalogue is sent to potential buying clients throughout the UK and abroad.
