Porsche 944 Manual 1986 - At the end of its 9 year production run Porsches "944" was the companys most successful selling car, a title it retained right up until the introduction of the "Boxster". Often shunned by the purists due to having a traditional front engine, rear wheel drive layout, values of these pretty "Coupes" were in the doldrums for years but lately people have realised just what a good car nice ones can be, easy to live with as a first classic or a classic you can use every day, prices are now recovering at pace.

This particular 1986 model has the 2.5 litre engine which runs well and the 5 speed manual gearbox option. Having been stood for the last couple of years the vendor will be carrying out a new MOT prior to the Auction so although mechanically it will be good, we would still advise some recommissioning prior to use.

As you can see the body work is good and no doubt will respond well to a good polish. Interior is pretty much the same, all there and useable but with some damage to the bolsters on the drivers seat, so no not mint but good. General mechanics will be up to UK MOT standards as at the moment they are untested having just come out from storage and not driven on the open roads yet.

Offered here with a sensible reserve so allowing its new owner the opportunity to improve as they go and coming with an "interesting" plate that in itself has value, this 944 represents good value on the todays market.

Citroen 2CV 1985 Fully Restored - This beautiful 2CV has been subject to a full restoration bringing it back to a factory fresh finish and is probably one of the best 2CVs on the market today. The vendor who also restored it, was not aiming for an over the top shiny trinket but more the original finish of a new car as it would have been in a showroom back in 1985.

Where ever possible this theme of originality has been stuck to and this shows no better than when you examine the paintwork. The brief to the painter charged with the job was to use original type paint and laid on to the factory colours. The result is excellent with the blue being contrasted nicely by the cream. This was no "paint what can be seen exercise" but a total paint inside and out. Lift the mats inside, or look under the seats and you will see the same level of care and attention.

Mechanically it received a rebuilt engine complete with a new fly wheel and clutch, the engine having suffered from standing for so long as the car was off the road from 1996. All other mechanical items were stripped and rebuilt or replaced where necessary. The freshly restored road wheels were then shod with a set of new tyres.

The interior? Well have a look at the pictures or examine it on the day, what can you say other than it is excellent and as close to new as you will find. Retrimed correctly in the right cloth pattern and correct colour. While apart all the electrics were renewed so everything works correctly, not that there is a lot to go wrong in the first place, but no nasty old wires suffering from years of home "maintenance" on this car.

So if you are looking for a 2CV that is almost new you would not go far wrong with this one. Only 48718 miles on the clock, complete with some history and its handbooks, jack and wheel brace, somebody is going to be very happy to own it to use or to show. Prices of good 2CVs just keep going up year on year so this could also be an excellent investment opportunity and one you would not have to spend a penny on. There will also be a new MOT on the car so its ready to go on the day.

Autobianchi Bianchina "Panoramica" 1959 - Incredibly rare especially in such original condition is this cute Fiat powered Autobianchi Bianchina "Panoramica" or "Estate" as we know it. Over the years while still in Italy, some minor renovations have taken place to the exterior but it is still substantially all original with no rust or dents. The paintwork itself has a good shine and no major imperfections. Have a look inside and you will see an original interior that is in very good order especially when you consider its 58 years old!!

The engine runs sweetly with no known faults and has recently been serviced here in the UK. Surprisingly the Fiat 500 engine these cars use, pulls it along down the road quite happily and the gearbox operates smoothly, all be it with no synchromesh between the gears as standard.

All the electrics and general mechanics on the car are good with new tyres and brakes being recently fitted. Being a 1959 car there is no road tax to pay and no MOT required but this car has been checked over to bring it up to a safe standard to use. So if you are looking for a collectable car that you can use and one that you will not see another of if you go to a show, then this one has got to be considered.

Fiat 500 1969 LHD - This lovely 1969 Fiat 500 has undergone a major restoration by the vendor, a retired Italian man that spent his life in the motortrade and now keeps his hand in restoring Fiats and Jaguars. He says of this one that all the front end panels have been replaced as have any other panels with any corrosion on, plus new bumpers front and rear.

The mechanics have been completely refreshed and the engine has been out, checked then refitted along with a new fuel tank replacing the original. All the electrics work as intended and the interior has also recieved the same level of attention. All areas are as such are described by the vendor as very good.

This is one of two 500s entered by the same gent, who is now in the process of reducing his collection due to his advancing years. Will come with an MOT through to Feb. 2017 and a full valet to remove the dust from storage.

A realistically priced Fiat 500 that is turn key and ready to use (Note: Better pictures to follow).

Audi 100 Avant "Quattro" 1990 - Audi Quatro, just the words make "Petrol Heads" round the world smile. We all know the history of the all-conquering 4 wheel drive system that Audi created in the early 80s. Today it is up there with names like "Cosworth or M-Series" with all models of Audi so equipped being very desirable hence collectable and future classics if not already.

This particular car, a 1990 model so in the last year of production, is coming out of long term ownership by an elderly gent, who has had it for 12 years or so. Equipped with the most powerful non turbo engine offered, the 2.3 litre 5 cylinder petrol version and a manual 5 speed gearbox. It has "adequate" performance and the prodigious grip of the 4wd, so making it fun to drive but still useable as a family car or load lugger .Engine oil pressure is very good and there are no nasty noises, smoke etc.

Although there is some early history, the current owner has always maintained the car himself with 4 new brake discs, new brake pads and one new calliper being fitted less than 400 miles ago. One thing the vendor has bought to our attention is over the years he has had on going problems with the speedometer giving either random readings (high and low) or none at all, he has tried various speedo heads etc to no avail, each time resulting in him refitting the original unit. This as it is now, does not display the MPH unless you press the reset button hard while in motion?? He did change the speedo drive a couple of years back at the same time he fitted a new clutch (gearbox was out as an MOT tester had pointed out it had a leaky seal so needed replacing) but since then the clock has behaved in this way. With such little use each year and the way he drove it (slowly), he felt it was not worth getting involved with any more but wanted to let any new owner know. As far as the rest of the car goes, body work is very straight and will polish nicely (sorry about the poor pictures, wet day and dirty roads) Interior is excellent as you can see in the pictures, complete with the rear load cover and fully equipped. Electrics all work except the drivers window that seems to of stopped but was working last time he drove it (he thinks?).MOT is through to the end of June.

The vendor does have a small amount of spares with the car which will go with it, things like a spare fuel pump etc and the cars original owners pack. There are also a genuine "Roof- bars" and a "Hide-away" tow bar fitted, apparently rare options.

Ferrari 360 Spider "Recreation" 2003 - Not your normal Toyota based Ferrari kit car this superb recreation of a 360 Spider is powered by an all-aluminium Double Overhead Camshaft Toyota 3 litre V6 engine so it not only looks the part but sounds it as well. If thats not enough this engine was then tuned by "Rogue Motorsport" so thats looks, sound and performance to match all at a price that is a fraction of the original car it is styled after.

Built on a 2003 chassis the dimensions of the car are almost correct and much time and effort has gone into making this so. The Ferrari Rosso paintwork is very good with just a very minor mark here and there but only from use and certainly nothing that detracts from the car. Exterior lights are genuine Ferrari items. Inside the car you will see the same level of attention from the professionally trimmed tan leather interior complete with Ferrari dials and leather trimmed steering wheel to the door cards, even the under dash section and roll hoops been covered to match!

On the road the tuned V6 engine pulls cleanly and runs through a Toyota 5 speed gearbox which gives smooth selection and matches the power delivery perfectly, clutch action is light and smooth. Brakes and all other general mechanics on the car are stated as very good and there is currently an MOT through to May so ready to go.

It never fails to amaze us just how good these replica cars can be when built properly and they really dont get much better than this one. You have to ask if its the look of a car you fall for, why spend 100s of thousands when you can have all the looks and most of the performance (in the real world), for a small percentage of that? Being offered here for a fraction of this cars build costs but please note: The Personal plate in the pictures will be replaced with its original "03" plate so forms no part of this sale.

Wrangler Jeep 4 litre 1993 - Getting very rare and hard to find now are these "Wrangler" Jeeps. This particular example is rare again being in the black with beige roof and having the full size side doors with wind up windows.

With low miles the lows miles recorded of 113712, having covered less than 6000 odd miles in the last 11 years, its 4 litre petrol engine is just about run in and starts instantly on the button with no problems. Equipped with a 5 Speed Manual gearbox, this Jeep is happy on the open roads or up to its gunnels in mud. The gearbox has got the common problem they can suffer from thats a poor selection into 2nd if you rush it but the vendor ensures us that once aware of it you can drive it all day with no problem, he just wanted to point this out. Otherwise mechanically it is very good, has recently had extra-large tyres fitted and has a current mot through to May this year.

Body work is actually very good for this type of vehicle, no nasty dents or rust and the removable canvas top has the zip out side and rear windows, all in good order. Interior wise the seats have heavy duty covers, front and rear, to protect them. The original covers underneath are good with just slight wear mainly on the drivers seat bolster (see picture).

A really strong and reliable 44, with low miles and some nice options. "Wranglers" have a strong following and prices are well and truly up. This one is now surplus to requirements and with the low reserve that has been set by the vendor, priced to sell.

Jeep Cherokee "Militarized Monster truck" 1995 - Just released for sale by a company that specialises in the supply of Military vehicles to the film and advertising industries is this 1999 Jeep Cherokee has literally had thousands spent on it transforming it into what you see here today.

Its 4 litre engine has been converted to run on LPG using a "Tinley-Tex" system and a huge custom built LPG tank. The Automatic gearbox is standard but please note the front prop shaft has been removed so effectively now a 2wd, easy enough to source and fit another but not with the Jeep.

Some of the other modifications follow: Full internal roll cage, full length roof rack with spot lights, custom front bumper equipped with a remote control winch, 4" Rancho lift kit and high rate shocks all round, custom swing away rear wheel carrier with ground anchor, custom rear bumper with heavy duty tow hitch, new heavy duty battery with a cut out switch in rear. 5 nearly new 35" mud tyres. Plus much more.

Bodywork is very solid and carries various army related petrol cans, graphics, flag pole etc all to make this truck look authentic. Interior has camouflage covers on the seats (the original grey leather underneath is fine just needing some cleaning and colonising) all other interior comforts are in place and considered to all work. Mechanically this is described as all good, driving well on the road with no problems and will be presented with a full 1 years MOT.

A real "Tough" looking Jeep for those military shows that with the re-fitment of the front prop will also make an excellent 44 off roader. Now surplus to requirements so being offered at a fraction of what just the up-grades and modifications have cost, not including the purchase of the vehicle in the first place.

Apologies for the poor pictures but as you can see things were a bit tight in there and some "humongous" great Soviet lorry was blocking the exit and would not start. The vendor will send better ones when he can. Thanks.

Toyota Landcruiser Colorado VX 1998 - Just released from a company specialising in the supply of Military vehicles is this great looking "Expedition Style" Toyota Land Cruiser. With only 174K on the clock its 3 litre diesel engine runs superbly, starting instantly with no nasty smoke, while the 2w/4w drive system works exactly as designed. This model is known for its reliability and ruggedness, this one is no different.

Interior has been protected by heavy duty seat covers and the grey leather it is fitted with has survived well, just the usual dryness on the drivers seat bolster. Elsewhere there are the odd scuff here and there but with a deep clean it will respond well, this is a seven seater. Electrics all work with all the options these vehicles came with as standard being present.

Exterior is very solid but the paint has suffered in places with poor lacquer on some of the painted surfaces and some crazing on the roof side panels, both looking fine from 3 feet away. An expensive custom made full length roof rack complete with rear ladder access and 5 custom spot lights is fitted as are 5 recently fitted, extra-large, mud tyres and a rear tow bar.

Now surplus to requirement and being offered with a very reasonable reserve. Comes with 10 months MOT so ready to go.

Cherokee Jeep 2.5 Diesel Manual 1999 - ust released from a company that specialises in the supply of military vehicles for the film or advertising industry as surplus to requirement and prior to undergoing the normal transformation, is this very straight 1999 Cherokee Jeep.

Fitted with the rarer 2.5 Diesel engine and a manual gearbox, both of which are described as good.

General mechanics are good as are the electrics.

The interior is in black leather, all in good order. Outside the black paintwork needs a damn good polish but once done will look much nicer than in these poor pictures ( for which we apologise but there was a bit of a log jam behind some massive Soviet truck that was blocking the exit better ones to follow once its been moved).

Once the aforementioned truck has been started and moved then the vendor will be taking this Jeep for an MOT so there will be a new one in place prior to sale. All in all a tidy 44 Jeep offered at a sensible price.

Mercedes 230 CE 1982 - After 10 years of ownership this glorious Mercedes 230 Coupe is now only available due to loss of storage. When first purchased the vendor had the paintwork refreshed and a rebuilt engine was fitted (bill for the engine fit was 2600 back in 2006!) Since then the car has been used intermittently, sometimes spending a couple of years at a time in storage and has only covered 6000 miles in his ownership and 142000 in total, backed up by many old Mot certificates.

The body work is still in very good order as when the paintwork was refreshed all or any poor areas were rectified and 10 years on it has a lovely deep shine to the paintwork with just one or two very small bubbles below the paint but no rust. Chrome work is bright and all emblems are present and correct. The vendor does point out that although the sun roof works, when left outside it would leak in the rain so he has "temporarily" put sealant around part of the edge, this stopped the leak but also the sun roof operation (obviously).

Interior is good but there is a slight miss-match with the drivers seat from being replaced at some point and some staining on the front passenger seat base caused by the sun roof leak, this should clean though. Otherwise apart from minor cracks on the dash and a small nick out of the vinyl on the center console, all very easy to repair but not something that bothered the vendor, a nice interior.

Over the years the vendor has replaced things like brake callipers and tyres as and when required, so has maintained the car. As such if you chose to, you could use as is or address the small problems and have a superb example of this very sought after iconic Mercedes Coupe. With his loss of storage in mind he has set the reserve lower than we advised so someone is going to get a bargain. MOT is through to January 2018 so tax, insure and enjoy.

Jaguar XJS 5.3 V12 CONVERTIBLE 1989 - F6 XJS is a lovely example of Jaguars superb XJS Convertible that was first registered 1st of August 1989. In the following 26 years only traveling 54,500 miles and spending the last 6 of them as part of a private collection.

Exterior paintwork is very nice with no rust or damage, the silver paintwork shines nicely and all the chrome work is in very good condition. The contrasting black hood is the fully electric type, in full working order and in good condition. Coming with the car are the hard to find tonneau cover and stowage bag for when hood is down.

Interior, like the exterior, is in very good condition with its leather and wood trim in very good order throughout. Jaguar really did make the cabins of these cars a very nice place to be.

Under that long sleek bonnet lives one of the best British engines of its time, Jaguars silky smooth but powerful fuel injected 5.3 litre V12. Almost silent when running until you press the throttle pedal, then the note changes and the scenery outside slides past very quickly, no fuss. With the roof down on a sunny day and a nice A road in front, these cars are a pleasure to own and drive.

With the Engine, Gearbox, Electrics and General Mechanics all being described as "very good" by the vendor, loads of service history and paperwork from over the years, all the old MOTs back to 1992 and a current MOT through till November this year, this Jag is ready to go. Prices are on the up now for nice examples such as this and it is now rare to find one in this order with the low reserve the vendor has set. So whether a collector, a speculator or someone looking for a beautiful classic, in our opinion this car tics all the boxes.

MG Midget Chrome Bumper 1961 - This 1961 "Midget" is a non-restored , early model car powered by the 948cc Engine and having no exterior door handles, so for the purists the one to have and very rare to find anywhere near this condition, outside of a museum or private collection.

The exterior paint, chrome and hood are all in excellent condition, the roof being only recently replaced so still like new, completed with the correct wing mirrors and a nice rear luggage rack correctly mounted on the boot. Interior is very good with its wooden MG steering wheel, MG gearstick and very nice leather trim

The engine is a little "screamer" that loves to be revved, matched well with the close ratio gearbox and short throw gear lever making these diminutive cars such fun to own and drive, proving that with a good chassis, you do not have to be going at 100mph to enjoy yourself.

Overall the general mechanics and electrics are very good and there is an engine immobiliser fitted for a bit of extra security. There is loads of paper work with the car, amongst which is a Heritage Trust certificate confirming its year etc and an MOT through to next year.

These early model Midgets are so hard to find like this and prices have soared in the last few years, making this a rare opportunity to own a bit, ok "small" bit of British motoring history at a sensible price.
