A rare Helmet for the Bodyguard of the Khedive of Egypt c.1870, iron skull retaining nearly all its original brass mounts including flights of the arrow-shaped adjustable nasal bar, retaining bracket, applied embossed border and turned over edge of the neck-guard, iron crescent finial fixes to the prominent brass boss surmounting the skull missing side decals.
