John Doherty 1950s Manchester United Football Contracts: John played for Man Utd from 1952 to 1957 and these are his annual contracts for 54/55 and 55/56. In the 55/56 season he made 26 appearances scoring 7 goals in the championship season. John moved to Leicester in 1957 avoiding the ill fated trip to Munich the next season in which he later did charity work for as Chairman of the former Manchester United Players Association. (2)
