A signed 7 inch single of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac debut release from 1967 'I believe my time ain't long' b/w 'Rambling pony' on the Blue Horizon label. The blue and white monochrome sleeve signed by Peter Green, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood and Jeremy Spencer. The vendor has supplied the following information as provenance, 'I had followed the band from their second gig at the Marquee Club in Wardour Street in London. Myself and my pals from Basildon probably saw the band every couple of weeks and got to know them very well. We were in the habit of going to a gig, scour the local pubs beforehand, find the band and see if we could get in for free. In December 1967, the band were playing at the Chelmsford Corn Exchange and we found them in the Golden Fleece in Duke Street. I had my copy of the first single with me and asked them to sign the picture sleeve, which they did. Ive had the record ever since that night. They also got us into the gig for free and Peter Green ensured that we all had the ultra violet mark on our wrists so we could go out for a beer and get back in'.
