Not necessarily since way back in the 50s small numbers of Jeeps had been made primarily for the US Postal service for their workers on spread out rural rounds. Allowing them to pull up on the kerb side to get out or reach out to the post boxes along the road side. This practice carried on until 1983 when the last big user of RHD Jeeps USPS finished using them. So being a 1983 this Jeep Wagoneer is likely to be one of this last run. The exterior condition of the car has had some minor restoration carried out to improve its overall look but in the vendors own words could do with some more tlc as it does have some marks and a scuff on the side. Mechanically its 4.2 litre 6 cylinder petrol engine runs well and the automatic gear box along with the rest of the transmission is in good condition. Electric wise condition is fair with some gremlins here and there but as the car has spent the last few years standing in dry storage this is to be expected. Having said that a new MOT is to be carried out prior to sale so all the electrics will be of an MOT standard. These big old Jeeps are now very rare especially in Right Hand Drive form you just do not see them anymore. This is a good example that will have a full MOT and one that with a little bit of work will repay the owner with an ever increasing value.
