Jaguar E type Series 111 5.3 1972 - Having not seen the light of day since 2007 when the current owners father sadly passed away, we are happy to of been asked to market this beautiful piece of British motoring history. This 3 owner 5.3 V12 Series 111 E type was first registered in 1972 and still with less than 40K on the clock. It is in superb all round condition with the original interior having just the right amount of patina to look correct but not worn or tatty. Mechanically it is superb but, unfortunately the previous owner 17 years ago had a van drive into the front of the car damaging the bonnet, rad etc and back in the day, with parts being very expensive but much lower car values, the insurance company deemed it a "Category C" damaged car so it is listed on HPI. At this point the sellers father, who himself was a salvage dealer, bought the car and had it professionally repaired using only genuine parts, these totaled in excess of £4000 , then painted to factory finish. You would never know it had been damaged . As you can see by the title and what makes this car unusual, apart from its mileage and it's a UK Right Hand Drive car that has not been rusty! Is it an Automatic transmission model which according to the owner, makes the whole driving experience even better as he says " you don't drive it like a race car so why bother with a heavy clutch and clunky gearbox?" Coming complete with a massive history file, old MOT's, bills of sale, invoices and reciepts all backing up its very low recorded miles of just over 34000 Now with a new MOT and with the reserve price set at a very sensible price for such a beautiful car, one that more than compensates for its insurance claim if that even wories you?
