Land Rover County 1982 - As you can see by the pictures, this 1982 Land Rover County has not been restored, more rebuilt from the chassis up with little or no mechanical components not receiving attention along the way. The engine received a full service prior to refitting then a new exhaust and Carburettor were fitted. Transmission wise new prop bearings and seals throughout. So both are now excellent. All the electrics were overhauled and now everything works as it should. The chassis was stripped back and any problems rectified prior to the application of anti-rust treatment to give years of trouble free ownership. Brakes were renewed throughout as were any bushes etc. while under there. Now back in one piece and with an MOT through to next year this is one Land Rover that is ready for its new owner. While the body is very good, it is the original panels and paint, being described as having one or two dents but good for a 35 year old car. Interior is the 6 seater in Delux Techno Grey described as excellent as its all new. On the road the 2386cc petrol engine pulls well with plenty of power and the manual gearbox functions as it should. All the running gear is new or refurbished so again is described as excellent. Coming with the long MOT is a clear and full photographic record of the restoration and lots of old MOTs. If you are looking for a properly sorted Landy then you really should have a close look at this one. They are getting rarer by the day and good ones are few and far between.
