Lot number: 126

James Captain 1950 - Having been in a collection since it was restored , unfortunately the vendor has currently mis-placed the papers for this very nice James Motorcycle. The DVLA have confirmed the number plate has not been re-issued and said it should be a straight forward case of filing in the relevant forms and issuing the new V5. especially when backed up with the old tax disc issued in 1960 still on the bike. Prior to going into the vendors collection this bike was refurbished with new parts where necessary ie new wheel rims and spokes plus tires. It has been stood un-used ever since so will need a level of recommisioning prior to use. Believed to be a 1950 model . UPDATE : This charming motorcycle has had its carb and fuel pipes cleaned, fresh petrol, timing set and off it went, nows runs like clockwork and moves under its own steam ( well cloud of two stroke smoke).
