C/W his contract issued in 1993 which is described as his Managers Service Agreement paying 100k per annum. This lot comes with Johns coaching badge which runs from 1993 to 1999. (3)

There are family congratulations cards, ties and other items with his signature including books. Tribute programme from 22 4 2006 which was given to the family which is multi signed. Nice lot.

Famously called the Khaki Cup Final as 1 year into World War One where the crowd was mainly dressed in military uniform. C/W Sheffield Sports Newspaper The Green Un from the day of the match and The Picture World newspaper from the Monday after with a match report inside. Programme very good with no team changes and papers fair. (3)

This was awarded for the two home nations matches played in his 1st division winning season versus mentioned opponents with Wales being his debut. Please note this cap was re issued by the FA later as a replacement as differs to the original 1950s caps. Very good. Made by Toye Kenning and Spencer Ltd.

Alan found out he was sacked by a waiter in Greece. COA to rear from Laurie Rampling club historian and photographer who obtained direct from the family.
