Solace by Zara Muse Being sold on behalf of Havens Hospice, all proceeds from the sale of this lot will be donated to Havens Hospices. A framed embellished print, pallet knife painted on linen, 100cm x100cm. Local hospice charity, Havens Hospices, were recently delighted to receive a beautiful piece of artwork from talented and celebrated local artist Zara Muse. Zara, who lives in Essex, is a dedicated supporter of Havens Hospices care and generously donated her stunning portrait Solace to help raise awareness and much-needed funds for Little Havens - Havens Hospices childrens hospice located in Thundersley. Zara Muse, the creative persona of Alexandra Johnson, is a contemporary artist known for her vibrant, textured works created using a palette knife and spatula. Zara's art revolves around themes of nature, emotions, and human connection. She skilfully employs a rich colour palette, expressing the female beauty using contrasting shades to evoke deep emotions in her viewers. Artistic talent runs in Zara's family, as she is related to a prominent street artist. She nurtured her creativity during summer vacations, but her journey to becoming a respected figure in both art and finance faced challenges. Despite a successful finance career, her true passion has always been art. While working as a trader in London, she became captivated by the graffiti art movement, which inspired her own artistic journey. Zara Muse has rapidly gained recognition in the contemporary art scene through a series of noteworthy exhibitions and collaborations. In 2023, her Radiant Resilience exhibition was showcased at both Grove Gallery and Quantus Gallery, highlighting her ability to convey strength and beauty through bold, vibrant works. In 2024, Zara collaborated with Eclectic Gallery and Savills Property Group for a special Chinese New Year event, creating pieces inspired by the Year of the Dragon. She also partnered with Michelin-starred Chef Atul Kochhar to feature her work at Kanishka, his renowned London restaurant.
