An interesting framed oil painting on canvas possible 17th Century. Andalusian School and possibly Circle of Sebastian De Llanos Valdes (1605-1677) The Head of Saint John the Baptist on a pewter plater with blood filling the dish and inscribed on a ribbon Eccentric Angus Dei ( Behold the lamb of God) later framed. 53x48cm without frame. The painting having striking similarities to the original by Francesco del Cairo (1607-1665)
