A Victorian British officers Cavalry Sword. The sword owned by Captain Percy Shaw Smith. Who was part of the 13th Light Dragoon’s Cavalry and took part in the Infamous Charge of Light Brigade 25th October 1854. Only a few survived the charge. The sword consigned by his family and sold with books History of XIII Hussars in which Captain Percy Smith is cited and illustrated.
