Liverpool 1922/1923 League Winners Football Medal: Issued by the club to Director Walter Cartwright. Stunning design of club badge to front in enamel stating Liverpool Ass Football Club 1922-1923 with rear engraved Liverpool Champions W H Cartwright Director Division 1 with gold hallmark underneath.
It is believed all the players got one of these also. 22ct Vaughtons medal weighing 22 grammes.

1987/88 Liverpool League Winners Proof Football Medal: Made by Vaughtons who made the players medals. This is a first proof in a Vaughtons box made of gold coloured metal but is not engraved to rear where it would state winners or runners up usually. Front states Barclays League Division 1 Winners and does not have a hallmark obviously. No season stated on medal but letter from original owner as authenticity. Nice item would look excellent in display cabinet for a fraction of the price of the players medals.

Former property of super sub David Fairclough who was sub in both the final and replay which they lost to Notts Forest.
