Sculpture Name: Harley Sponsor Name: Radio Southend Created by: Mik Richardson - Mik Richardson is a Norfolk based artist who has run his own art business since leaving the RAF in 2006. As well as producing over 400 murals, privately, in the community and in schools, he has also been involved in many of the public art trails across the country. He has, to date, painted 65 Wild in Art sculptures (and an additional 22 for other trails) which have raised nearly �250,000 for the charities involved. Harley: Mik was inspired for the Harley design from the famous Hairy Biker cooking duo with their love of motorbikes, so he definitely had to have a moustache and beard. He also sports a leather singlet style jacket with speedy tortoise/hare logo, a leather helmet with goggles, leather pants and buckled biker boots and will be completely 3d painted.

He takes commissions for portraits of people, places and pets. He also paints portraits in the style of other artists e.g. David Bowie in the style of Picasso. Allan is currently a programme leader for an Ipswich base charity, Inside Out Community where he organises and delivers creative workshops to help people with their mental health and wellbeing.

Mostly working in acrylic paints, watercolours and pen ink she specialises in painting live at events and weddings, painting the scene as guests watch. Hop, Skip, Splash: Skip along the pier at sunset, where bright lights illuminate the rides on adventure island. Hop along the beach lined by colourful shells. They are on an unexpected mission to *SAVE THE WORLD* from relentlessly terrible news and wanton drudgery. It�s ambitious, certainly, but the doors they have built and installed around Cambridge are dinky dollops of quirkiness that people are finding joyful and delightful. Jet the Hareplane: Jet set up business as an independent hareline pilot this year, when he realised that life wasn�t moving fast enough for his liking. To realise his dream, he studied haeronautical engineering and developed a strap-on 3p coin-operated jet propulsion harecraft wing. Sure, it was a harebrained idea, but he couldn�t hare less, and soon enough he was hareborne and hurtling towards the hareizon. He�s pretty hoppy, and hopping his business will really take off soon � certainly now that he has a passenger cabin strapped to his belly.

Some Hare over the Rainbow: This design was inspired by all the colours of the rainbow on a black background to make the colours pop. The hare gives a beautiful canvas to showcase a perfect colour blend, giving a bright and vibrant ombre effect. David hopes this design will bring a little bit of joy into your day! Sponsor Stibbards & sons felt the design was apt for them as �Somewhere Over the Rainbow� is one of their most requested songs at Funerals.

He recently illustrated his 1st children�s story book based around one of the Wild in Art sculptures he designed & painted. Hoptimus Prime:This design, for the Robotic style hare, came from a brief with the sponsors who were after a cutting-edge style character to represent them. In their workplace they have a stunning Bionic man mural and wanted the hare to take a similar theme, so Mik designed him to have ceramic panels, with pistons and gears, electronic wires and glimmering led tubes behind a skin of mesh, glowing visor, with computerized readouts and a pixelated atomic powered heart in his chest. If you thought Hares were fast, then this one is like lightning!

Karslake had numerous solo exhibitions, and became famous for his depictions of celebrities such as the Rolling Stones, Johnny Depp, Michael Caine and Grace Kelly. The Karslake Centre, a centre for arts education, was opened at the Cornelius Vermuyden School and Arts College on 15 September 2005. Sadly Paul passed away on 23 March 2020 of sudden onset pneumonia, which was caused by COVID-19 Leporum Fisher: Our very first Hare, Paul based the design on Leigh on Sea and it�s fishing heritage

View of Lepus: The Constellation of stars named Lepus is named after the wild hare and is the inspiration for this design. Karen wanted a peaceful, magical night time scene � (possibly the view of the hare when she comes out to graze) with meadow flowers, grass, berries, insects and spiders coming out to weave webs�.

In Andy�s art he likes to capture the beauty of the human condition. Stature, figure, projection and emotion. Andy works in various mediums but mainly in oil and acrylic paint. Bronwyn is a photographic artist, Bronwyn is captivated with all things floral. She encapsulates their intoxicating beauty, form and shape, through the use of photography to create large scale artworks with a nod to the Old Dutch Masters. Bronwyn is a regular exhibitor in the Leigh Art Trail and has work in collections, both locally and internationally Larry: A most flamboyant hare! Designed by internationally renowned interior designer Laurence Llewlyn Bowen, local artists Bronwyn Oldham and Andy Downes were tasked with recreating his gorgeous floral design in their own unique way. Working together and using their individual artistic mediums of spray paint and floral photography, their combined talents have given Larry a �new waistcoat of many colours!� He is definitely one hare you won�t miss about town!

Salvi By Nyia O'Hanlon This leveret design is a tribute to the late artist, Paul Karslake. Salvador Dali was Paul�s hero, he even hitchhiked to Cadaqu�s in Spain to see Dali and managed to have a brief conversation with him outside his house - a story artist Nyia was told many times whilst painting alongside Paul in his Leigh on Sea workshop. Nyia painted this leveret in Paul's own workshop, using his mass of inspiration all around her, and the memories of all the time spent together to create a piece of artwork that he would hopefully be proud of. Salvi - the Salvador Dali style leveret.
