Bobby Diamond Boxer + Boxing Promoter Personal Collection: Fantastic collection of boxing posters photos and memorabilia. Believed to be born in England to French parents, he started off as a European Flyweight in 1919 but was more well known for being a flamboyant promoter. Painstakingly put together with a documented, in depth 14 page document describing all of the 87 items. For Whats App video please email us. There are 5 posters including a young Henry Cooper in 1958. Photos start from around 1920 when Robert Diamant, as he was known then, started fighting. Luis Romero was one of his fighters and there are some photos of him with a rosette worn by his team in Johannesburg 1951. There are lots of promo cards of fighters sometimes autographed. Do not miss.

Consists of many hundreds of cuttings from various newspapers as to the start of Greyhound Racing properly in the U.K. The higher classes were against the rise of this sport as they thought it would undermine horse racing and many cuttings from 1927 are about the start of a Greyhound Racing Committee. Every cutting from this 1927 to 1929 period is dated. Nice item.
