Ben Warren Chelsea 1914 Football Letter: Fascinating letter to Ben Warrens wife who was struggling financially due to England player Warren being certified insane. Letter dated Feb 1914 refers to a possible benefit match. A series of benefit matches were played in April one attracted 15000 spectators. Sadly Warren died 3 years later in the asylum.

C/W 4 page card itinerary which has details of the hotels and transportation for match in Belfast on 1908. The rear is like a programme and has both teams line ups. Very good. Ben Warren had just signed for Chelsea after leaving Derby and was an England Full International. (2)
