A gents Rolex Explorer II self-winding mechanical wristwatch from 2002. The black dial presents luminous hands and hour indicators, with magnified date aperture. The stainless steel bezel is inset with Arabic numerals in increments of two, some slight damage to the bezel. Mounted on a Rolex stainless steel strap, again some slight cosmetic damage. Some slight wear also to the crown. Seen in good working order but condition not guaranteed. Sold without box or paperwork.

This example has a two-tone Pepsi bezel, the top half in blue, the bottom in a light red, presenting white Arabic numerals in increments of two. As standard, this watch has a magnified date aperture and is mounted on a stainless steel Rolex strap. The overall condition of this watch is very good. There is some general wear as expected with a worn timepiece, notably including a slight chip to the outer part of the bezel, a few light scratches to the bezel and scratches to the strap and lugs. The back case is marked 6645 101000 (for NATO issue), 6B/542, 3150/53, with the large RAF arrow to the top. The dial is also marked with the fat arrow above 6 and the encircled T below 12. This watch is mounted on a retrospective strap and may also have retrospective hands. The watch is in apparent good working order but has a crack to the glass and scratches to the lugs etc as expected with a watch of this age and character. Only 5900 of these timepieces were issued for pilots and officers, in a one year order of this exciting antimagnetic chronometer.
