A framed poster of The Beatles circa 1963 signed to the top right by George Harrison. The dedication reads 'To Doris love from George Harrison xxx'. The signature itself was acquired by the vendor during the filming of 'A Hard Day's Night'. The handwritten provenance supplied with this lot is as follows; 'Hi, My name is Doris. I got this autograph signed to myself from George Harrison in the year 1963-64. The Beatles were making the film 'A Hard Day's Night' and some of the location was shot at the Scala Theatre, Charlotte Street, London. The Beatles came in a chauffeured driven car (and) they all got out and ran in the theatre. The only one that stopped was George Harrison. I got a kiss on the cheek and an autograph. I was a very lucky girl and George was a very kind person'. The total size of this lot is 31cm x 38.5cm.
