Two handwritten letters from Epic Soundtracks (Kevin Paul Godfrey), the brother of Nikki Sudden. Epic was a key member of Swell Maps and later also played with Australian bands Crime & the City Solution and These Immortal Souls. The letters date to circa 1985-1986 with Epic detailing the working track titles and songwriters of the debut album of Crime & The City Solution, with some of these track names later changing. Epic also mentions a new record he made with his brother which features Rowland Howard (The Birthday Party) playing slide guitar.

A unique and interesting letter typed from Michael Gira of New York band Swans. Dated June 15, 1986, the letter is a response to a fan, answering some questions about upcoming material. Gira states that he has sent out manuscripts for a pornographic photo/writing book but has had no response, that the Raymond Pettibone Collaboration did take place and that the stories narrated by Jarboe are almost complete. Gira goes on to mention new material that he is recording such as A Screw (12” EP released in 1986) and that the release of Holy Money would be delayed. This letter is accompanied with an envelope from M Gira and a Swans sticker.
