All on four feet in the form of a fish, Victorian lozenge diamond registration mark for the 1860s.

An English silver snuff box of military interest poignantly having been the property of Captain John Chamberlain MC and hallmarked for Birmingham 1910 and engraved 3rd South Wales Borderes, the Captain then having been killed in action in Flanders additionally engraved, presumably by his family ''Killed in Flanders, May 1917'', the box itself of curved rectangular form and with striped decoration and with a button to the centre probably having been taken from his uniform, the box accompanied with a two page obituary of the Captain charting his career through to his death at the age of 35.
