Sadly Pollard passed away aged aged 38 in 1945 and there are 3 letters signed by manager Charlie Paynter answering his wifes help for money from the club. C/W a photo and press cuttings of his West Ham career, his rise to fame at Burnley as a youth player and his meeting with Winston Churchill.
