Important notice for collections and office opening times
We are open until Tuesday 23 December 2025 from 8:30am to 4:00pm and will reopen on Friday 2 January 2026 for normal working hours.
We are also open for collections only on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 December from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Appointments are required, so please contact the office to arrange a time.

WW1 Officers 1914 casualty medal group to Second Lieutenant Lionel Holford Hughes 1st Bn North Staffordshire Regiment who died on 29th October 1914 age 19. 1914 Star Trio named 2.Lieut.L.H.HUGHES memorial plaque and memorial scroll all framed and glazed (not open for inspection) He was killed in action in trenches at Rue Du Bois whilst his battalion were removing a large number of German fallen which had built up in front of their trench. He was killed by stray shell. He is on the war memorial in Hixon, Staffs and others and attended Lancing College and has many entries on the internet. Please see his blue cloth helmet in this sale.
