Ernest Charles Wallcousins, 1883 - 1976. A pair of gilt framed oil on canvas paintings, one depicting Eve in the garden of Eden, the other of The Entrance To Eldorado, both approx 58cm x 83.5cm. Ernest Charles Wallcousins was a British illustrator, portrait and landscape painter who was an official WW2 artist and painter of Churchill's victory portrait in 1945. His paintings have been hung in the Beecroft gallery, Southend on Sea. Comes with an original sale receipt.
