A 19th century continental silver gilt snuff box of rectangular shape, the hinged lid enamelled with a central scene of figures reclining in a garden setting with a dog, surrounded by champleve blue enamel and silver ground with scrolling foliate designs, the sides and base with further blue and white champleve and guilloche enamel. The inside rim with two 'Swan' marks. Size: 77mm x 50mm x 14mm approximately
