Leytonstone Pre War Football Postcards + Memorabilia: Incredibly rare items from the team that were formed in 1886 and won the Amateur Cup twice. Postcards of team groups from 1909/10, 1910 tour, 1911/12, 1912/13, 1920 tour, 1921 tour, 1925/26, 1927 with opponents Zwolle, 1937/38. There is a further old team group and two individual players of which one is in England Amateur kit. Also included are 8 different tour itineraries to Europe from 1912 to 1929. The 1914 itinerary is signed by 26 and you wonder how many came back from the first world war. The 1920 itinerary is also fully signed. Superb history of a club who through merges with Ilford Redbridge Walthamstow whilst officially defunct in 1979 are living through Dagenham + Redbridge. Overall fair conditions.
