British I War History. An intresting collection of Photographs and associated ephemera relating to the Ammunition Factory V.C number 6 filling factory at Chilwell in Nottinghamshire. On July 1 1918 the factory experienced a massive explosion killing 134 people and many hundreds were injured. This lot including a memorial card photos of the work force the interior and the aftermath of the explosion. Also included is a workers ID token 819 sold with other military books including German.
