DANNY LA RUE.OBE. (1927-2009) The comic in the frock one of the most popular entertainers of the second half of the 20th century from the 1960s to his last performance in 2006. This Special collection of Danny personal possessions was given to Danny house keeper the late Mrs P Gisbourne, they remained close friends until Danny departed the performing world. We also have a letter from Danny dated 7/7/2004 written to his housekeeper giving permission to his belongings. Copy of this letter are available to successful buyers. Didnt I do well darling.
