A superb French Art Deco white metal and rosewood tea set of striking innovative form comprising tea pot,water jug,sugar and milk jug with faceted panels,lined decoration,the bases sloping inwards,the rosewood handles of shaped pierced form,the collars of steeped form,the spouts elongated with ribbed detail and with rosewood finials,stamped marks BB possibly for Bardol & Bartheme,French circa 1930s.
