An album containing a very extensive and well documented collection of early mainly mint great British and common wealth postage stamps. The great britian collection runs from Queen Victoria to 1948 and includes nice franked examples of the £5 orange SG137 £1 brown SG185 or 186 £1 green SG212 and Edward VII £1 green SG266. The commonwealth collection includes stamps to high values including £1 and more and includes countries such as heligoland.
