A beautiful antique Russian travelling icon in it's original leather case having two enamelled painted faces within a blue and red enamel surround and a coloured stone to the top of the Diadem.The silver frame itself has an alternating band in colours of white and blue and the icon and its surround is silver gilded.Above the icon is a silver gilt crown in high relief.There is a makers mark and a stamped 900,the date thought to be mid to late 19th century
