A rare English blue and white porcelain pint mug, dated 1757, decorated with a family crest and with the inscription "in God is all our trust" the sides flanked with a figure of a gentleman with a hunting flintlock rifle, with one other figure possible holding a trowel, the reverse around the handle with a classical garden monument, the base marked in underglazed blue conforming with the decoration. M W,E Jan',1757. Height 14.5cm condition chips to the rim and cracked handle no restoration. Believed to possibly be Isleworth.
