Jaguar E-Type Series 2 2+2 1968 RHD - From the pictures you can see this lovely Series 2 E-Type has been in storage since it arrived here in the UK from New Zealand where it has been part of a private collection. The red body work is rust free and very straight with nice quality paint and need little more than a good polish. Interior is in the popular black leather and is very good through out, again some detailing would not go amiss but this is not to be confused with a restoration project, it is far removed from that and well within the realms of a private man with a polish cloth.As you can see the correct wire wheels are fitted and in good condition as are all four tyres. The 4.2 6 cylinder engine fires instantly and settles to that Jaguar purr loved by all. The vendor reports that the 4 speed manual transmission operates correctly with a nice clutch action, while that 4.2 engine pulls strongly through out the rev range with good oil pressure and correct water temperature. The general mechanics are all good and the electrics operate correctly. Coming with all the relevant paper work to register on the road here in the UK and with which the vendor is more than happy to assist you with. This car gives and represents a good oportunity to own a Series 2 E Type that is right hand drive, in a popular colour combination, not been rusty and as always so damn good looking!
