These four paintings from the Jazz series made £1,960 in our July 2011 auction

Lot 1226 a rare Nikon camera makes £900, Lot 800 a Thomas Bott Worcester vase reaches £4900, Lot 1201 a scout blanket makes £1100 and a gold eternity ring makes £1850.

    Stacey's attract a wide range of buyers that want to buy your gold and will pay the best prices to get. Jewellers, dealers and investors pushed prices of assorted gold lots well above scrap in our February 2011 sale.

    Driving up prices of Dinky Vehicles

    Huge interest from internet and telephone bidders meant three lots of Dinky vehicles made over £1500 in out February 2011 sale.

    Arthur Dooley Bronzes exceed expectation

    Despite four of the five lots being shown to be the work of an Arthur Dooley apprentice. Intense internet and telephone bidding saw the total hammer price for the five lots pushed to £5,700.

    Stacey's and Beswick - A Magical combination

    A fantastic lot of Five Beswick animals comprising young calf, lamb, ram, donkey and cheetah made £850 in our January 2011 sale. Great buyers can't resist the animal magnetism of Stacey's!

    Collection of trains steams to over £3,000

    A collection of Fourteen lots of Wren and Hornby locomotives made over £3,000 in our 31st January 2011 auction. Including the Golden Eagle, City of London and Devizes Castle (pictured) which made £470.

    Postcards "drawer" in the bids

    Lot 528 - A small oak two drawer unit and one other loose drawer containing a large quantity of various postcards makes over £1000.

    Meccano Buyer in the Room

    Buyers travelled from across the UK to be in the room and bid on lot 683 in January 2011 seeing the Meccano make nearly £1000. Stacey's buyers are on the phone and internet worldwide but sometimes it just pays to be here in person.

    Reduced Commission Rate on Gold

    Stacey’s Auctioneers & Valuers are offering a reduced commission rate of only 8% on all gold goods entered into our sale on January 31st 2011. Goods for this sale must be received by 20th January.

    John Lewis clock in top price bracket!

    Huge interest in this fantastic ebonised bracket clock saw a hammer price of £3,300 in our November sale.

    Well beyond miniature prices for a set of ivory miniatures

    Intense bidding from around the world on the internet and telephone including a collector in India and with fierce competition in our Essex auction rooms saw the price of these Mogul ivory miniatures pushed up to £9,800 in our sale on 18th October.

    "By Georgi!" we've done it again

    A fantastic oil by Georgi Stenberg depicting a portrait of his brother Vladimir made £4,500 in our September 6th sale.

    Dinky Toys Drive Internet Bidders Crazy

    Some frantic bidding from our online buyers meant a collection of Dinky toys made £3,500 in total.

    A Cracking price for the Steigerwald Garniture

    A Paris collector beat a bidder from New York to win Lot 400 in our August 2010 sale for £14,500.

    Walnut Italian commode makes £8,400

    After some fierce competition, this Italian commode, Lot 100 in our June 2010 sale sold for a fantastic £8,400.

    A Collection of medals sell for £5,100

    With a huge amount of global interest we are pleased that Lot 712 in our April reached a hammer price of £5,100.

    Stacey's on "Flog It"

    Flog It logo The BBC "Flog It" programme was filmed at Stacey's in October 2009 and was broadcast on Wednesday 10 February 2010.  Already missed it?...look out for more programmes on 22 February and 15 March at 3:45 on BBC2.
