Vic is recognised by the Guiness Book of Records as the world's most prolific stuntman and IMDB list him as having been a stuntman in 117 films! He has worked in motion pictures for over thirty years, as a stunt co-ordinator and director as well as a world-renowned stuntman. He was one of three stunt doubles for Harrison Ford on the Indiana Jones trilogy, even though Harrison Ford enjoyed doing his stunts himself. Vic looked so much like Harrison Ford on the set that members of the cast and crew often mistook him for Ford. When Ford suffered a back injury making the second Indiana Jones film that required surgery, Vic filled in for him and filmed a good portion of Ford's stunts and fight scenes. A photo of the two taken together in costume for the role of Indiana Jones has written across it by Ford 'Vic - If you learn to talk, I'll be in deep trouble! Harrison 9 -88 ' This 10 x 7 inch colour photo signed 'Best wishes Vic Armstrong' shows the stuntman as Indiana Jones and is one of three he sent and comes with a copy of the handwritten note from him.
