MG MGA 1500 Roadster 1955 Right Hand Drive - Having been fully restored in New Zealand prior to the vendor buying it and shipping to the UK to become part of his collection, this very very pretty car is a great example of this sought after British Sports car. Being an NZ car it has never been rusty and is an original Right Hand Drive car, not a converted Left Hand Drive like so many offered on the market today. Being powered by MG's 1500cc unit, which was reconditioned during the restoration, coupled to a 4 speed manual gearbox, the vendor describes it as excellent for the engine and transmission, with it being show quality under the bonnet. The interior was fully retrimed with light brown leather that contrasts nicely with the white exterior of the bodywork, this includes not only the seats but door trims and dash roll as well. The dash itself received the same level of attention with any faults being rectified and is now gorgeous. Its black convertible hood, complete with side screen, was renewed so the back window is crystal clear. On the road, everything functions as it should with brakes, electrics and general mechanics all being very good. Tyres are all new being replaced at the same time the road wheels were restored. While not registered for the UK yet, the vendor has all the relevant paperwork to do so onto the correct historic number plate and is more than happy to guide you through the process, so you would be the only registered keeper here in the UK .
