Honda CB400F "Four Hundred Four" - This lovely and mainly original 1976 Honda 400 Four is part of a private collection we have been asked to offer through our future auctions, this particular bike in November. Honda turned the middleweight bike market on its head when they introduced the CB400F into the UK. Here was a 4 cylinder 400cc bike, that in itself amazed most people, that was more than capable of out running and out handling many of the much larger cc motorcycles on offer from the established manufacturers at the time. Now examples like this are highly sought after and their values are increasing daily. Having been totally refreshed by its owner but then left in his collection, this bike will need some very mild recommisioning (change the oil and filter, check the tyre pressures etc) prior to use and will make a superb addition to any ones garage especially as having swinging arm mounted footrests marks it out as being an early "first year of production" model. Last registered keeper had it since 1985 and it comes with a stack of old MOT's back to 1998 helping to confirm its low mileage. UPDATE. The bike has now had its carb's cleaned, fresh petrol, new battery and has passed its UK MOT so is running and riding as it should.
