Registration no. OL 8728 Frame no. 4101 Engine no. 4148 Introduced in 1923 the BSA Model S was the first machine made by BSA to use an overhead valve engine and range was complemented by a side valve "sports" model. Both where rated highly in the motorcycle press of the time as the "go anywhere" motorcycle. "OL 8728" is fitted with the side valve engine and was first registered in 1924. The motorcycle was restored to concourse condition in 1986 and it is one of the best to come to market in recent years but as an older restoration light recommissioning will be required before use. The sidecar was not fitted to the motorcycle when new but was fitted during its restoration and is of the period and believed to be correct for the model. The motorcycle is a great vintage machine and is applicable for the VMCC Banbury run. The motorcycle is sold with current V5 and some paperwork, photographs and information from the restoration.
