Madness, formed in 1976, were one of the most prominent bands of the late 1970s and early 1980s 2 Tone ska revival. In 1979, the band toured with fellow 2 Tone bands The Specials and The Selecter, before recording their debut album 'One Step Beyond'. Baron Norman Beresford Tebbit, CH, PC is a British politician, born in 1931. Before entering politics, he worked as a journalist for the Financial Times then serving with the Royal Air Force, during which he flew Meteor and Vampire jets. A member of the Conservative Party, he was an MP from 1970 to 1992 and served in the Cabinet from 1981 to 1987. In 1984, he was injured in the Provisional Irish Republican Army's bombing of the Grand Hotel in Brighton, where he was staying during the Conservative Party Conference. His wife Margaret was left permanently disabled after the blast. He left the government after the 1987 general election in order to care for his wife and lives in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. These two unsigned CD albums Guerilla Invasion Part 1 and Part 2 are from Missing Andy, an Essex based British mod influenced band. Raymond Briggs is an English illustrator, cartoonist, graphic novelist and author who has achieved popular success among adults and children. His book The Snowman, published in 1978 is entirely wordless, and illustrated with only pencil crayons. In 1982 it was adapted by Channel 4 as and has since been shown every year on British television. On Christmas Eve 2012, the 30th anniversary of the original was marked by the airing of the sequel The Snowman and the Snowdog.
